Aura
| ||||||
|
Aura (Japanese: オーラ Aura, or アルジローレ Argyraurae) is a potent tome which debuted in Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light. In its appearances in the Archanea tetralogy of games, it is a sacred tome inherited through the line of successive pontifices of Khadein; it was Gotoh's decision to entrust it to Miloah instead of Gharnef which inspired the latter's descent into corruption and eventual resurrection of Medeus.[1] In its appearances in other non-Archanea Fire Emblem series games, it has been black, light, and white magic; while still very powerful, it is more commonly available and has no similar history or prestige.

Trivia
- In the French version of Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, the Rexaura is referred to as Aura, the Aura's French name.
- In Shadow Dragon and New Mystery of the Emblem, Aura is only usable by females. However, this disregards the fact that Linde's father Miloah wielded it despite being male.

Gharnef, overcome by jealousy, stole the Darksphere from Lord Gotoh, and created the Imhullu tome. As a result... His heart was trapped within the Darksphere for all eternity. Wrath and envy led him to ruin. Do you understand now, Arlen...?" — Wendell to Arlen in Chapter 10, Fire Emblem: New Mystery of the Emblem
