“ | ... My father has dedicated his life to protecting humans. For the longest time, I could not fathom why he would do this. But now, after spending time with all of you... I begin to understand how he felt. | ” | — Myrrh to Saleh |

Myrrh (Japanese: ミルラ Myrrh) is the adopted daughter of Morva and an incarnation of the legendary Great Dragon of old who aided mankind during the first great war against the Demon King. She is a Manakete, a member of a race of human-like people with wings on their backs who can transform into dragons using dragonstones. She appears to be and acts like a shy, good-natured young girl.
Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones
Role
Myrrh first appears in Chapter 8, when Eirika and Ephraim reunite at Frelia. Ephraim introduces her, stating that he found her captured in Grado territory. She explains that she and the other Manaketes living in Darkling Woods sensed a great force coming from the direction of Grado, and she went to investigate. While she was there, she was captured and her dragonstone was stolen. However, Ephraim found and rescued her and brought her with him to Frelia.
In Eirika's route, Myrrh goes with Ephraim to Grado. However, when Eirika reaches Caer Pelyn, a small mountain village, Dara, the village elder, explains that Myrrh is the Great Dragon of old legends who saved mankind from the Demon King. Dara warns her that she must go back to meet Ephraim immediately to help her.
In Ephraim's route, she still goes with Ephraim. When the group lands at Taizel after a ship journey, Myrrh runs away from the group because she senses her dragonstone. She is captured by Selena, a misguided but loyal Grado general, who has her dragonstone; when Myrrh attempts to convince Selena that Grado's cause is unjust, she wins her freedom. After Selena is defeated, Myrrh regains her dragonstone, but is sad that Selena had to be killed.
After Eirika and Ephraim reunite, Myrrh only begins fighting in Chapter 16. In Chapter 20, when the army goes to Darkling Woods, she hopes to meet her father Morva there. However, he is turned into a Draco Zombie by Lyon, and she cries over his death afterwards.

Analysis
This character analysis section may not be accurate to every player's experience. |
Myrrh is the only Manakete available in The Sacred Stones. Her availability is on the lower end, since she joins past the game's halfway point.
Myrrh's base stats are low, but her Dragonstone provides significant bonuses. While it has limited uses, fifty uses are still enough to last until the post-game unless she is being used to solo entire groups of enemies, which she is poor at without 1-2 range. Thanks to the Dragonstone, Myrrh can survive enemies and gain levels in combat. Her growths are excellent, among the highest in the game, so training her can be worthwhile. She also gains experience very fast because of her low level. She cannot promote, but that is not very significant.
The Dragonstone she carries is effective against monsters, allowing her to one-shot them. If she does not one-shot, she one-rounds, and they cannot kill her in one hit. This makes her especially good in the last few maps, such as Darkling Woods and endgame. These maps are full of enemy monsters, and a trained Myrrh makes short work of them without much risk.
Myrrh is also excellent against bosses, especially Morva, Lyon and Fomortiis. Not only does she survive a round of combat with them, but she deals hefty damage to them all as well. Few units in The Sacred Stones can match these bosses, and Myrrh does not even need a powerful weapon to fight them.
Myrrh's final benefit is her ability to fly. While her movement is much less than that of a Pegasus Knight or Wyvern Rider, she can still move freely across terrain, and it proves invaluable on certain maps. Darkling Woods especially encourages using fliers, and Myrrh excels there.
Myrrh's primary flaw is that she cannot fight at 1-2 range, so she will not be strong on enemy phase. Her base speed is also pitiful, so combined with her low HP she will need training to reliably take hits from enemies. Myrrh is also among the worst units for post-game content because of her weapon. The limited uses will definitely run out post-game, and there is no way to restore them.
Fire Emblem Heroes
Role
There are five different variations of Myrrh available to Heroes. The normal variation of Myrrh is one of the characters added to the game in the Fiery Resolve update, and became available for summoning by players on January 25, 2018. A Halloween variation of Myrrh was made available between the period of October 10, 2018 through November 9, 2018 as part of the summoning event surrounding the launch of the The Land's Bounty update. A spring variation of Myrrh was made available between the period of March 17, 2021 through April 17, 2021 as part of the summoning event surrounding the Willful Rabbits update; this variation is a Harmonized Hero, carrying a dual-credit with Awakening as a result of being paired up with Nah. A legendary variation of Myrrh was first made available to players on May 31, 2022 as the game's thirty-sixth Legendary Hero. A Valentine's variation of Myrrh was added on February 6, 2024, and was first available to summon from then until March 6, 2024.

Personality
Myrrh is a very shy girl. Her humanoid form is childlike, as she is a young Manakete of approximately 1200 years.[1] Myrrh is a bit insecure, and finds the title "Great Dragon" unfitting for her.[2] She is also uncomfortable with sleeping by herself, being used to the presence of her father at nearly all times,[3] additionally, she hides distress from others, preferring to hide and cry in private, if discovered she generally, and unsuccessfully, denies that she was crying in the first place.[4][5] She keeps a quiet and formal mien around strangers, though she is willing to open up after she no longer sees someone as a stranger. Myrrh seems to prefer that others speak to her plainly, rather than with the high reverence the people of Caer Pelyn use. She is quite unfamiliar with human contact, but is good-natured.
Myrrh has lived in Darkling Woods all her life, taken care of by her father Morva. Little is known about her time there, but Morva had been taking care of her for a very long time. When Saleh or Ephraim asks her to come to Caer Pelyn or Renais, respectively in their A support conversations, she says that maybe she should not, since she is a dragon and may be unwelcome, but she will answer them later.[6][7] She feels separate from both humans and monsters.

Endings
Myrrh, the Great Dragon
After bidding her farewells to Ephraim, she returned to Darkling Woods. She lived a long and full life, served by the people of Caer Pelyn and comforted by the memories of her dear friends.
Myrrh and Saleh
Myrrh returned to Darkling Woods, but at Saleh's request, she eventually moved to Caer Pelyn, In time, the townsfolk learned to treat her not as the Great Dragon but rather as a normal girl, and she was happy.
Myrrh and Ephraim
After the war, Ephraim returned to Renais and Myrrh to Darkling Woods. They both turned their attention to their respective duties but never forgot one another. Though Myrrh never again left Darkling Woods, Ephraim often visited her.

Trivia
- The enemy control glitch allows Myrrh to use monster weapons (although without animations). This same glitch can be used to restore uses to Myrrh's Dragonstone.
- Myrrh is the first playable female manakete in the Fire Emblem series to not be a Divine Dragon.
- Because the Dragonstone is treated as an item and not a weapon, Myrrh cannot be used in the Link Arena.
