“ | Pablo, you mad, reckless imbecile... If Prince Innes dies here, the bond between Carcino and Frelia is sundered forever. Carcino will be nothing more than a vassal paying tribute to Grado... | ” | — Klimt |

Klimt (Japanese: クリムト Klimt) is a member of Carcino's Council of Elders. During the War of the Stones he was at odds with fellow councilman Pablo on which side to take during the war.
Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones
Role
Klimt is a minor character only appearing in Eirika's route. He is first mentioned in the opening narration for Chapter 9, stating that Carcino is an ally of Frelia.[1]
He later makes an in-person appearance in Chapter 10 hiding from Pablo. Pablo wants Carcino in Grado's good graces and is hunting down members of Carcino's council that don't want to side with Grado. Near his hiding place Pablo's hired mercenary forces are hunting Prince Innes, who is hiding in a fort at Teraz Plateau. After Eirika rescues Innes and chases off Pablo, Klimt comes out of hiding and greets them, though Innes at first assumes Klimt agrees with Carcino's actions.[2] After his quick introduction he explains the split interests of Carcino's council to Eirika and Innes.[3] Being free of Pablo's hunting, Klimt departs for Frelia to meet with King Hayden and to explain the situation. This is Klimt's first and last in-person appearance. He is mentioned later in Chapter 13, aiding Frelia's forces against Pablo's in an unspecified manner.[4]

Personality
Klimt's limited screen time does not divulge much of his personality. Though, in contrast to Pablo, he thinks of Carcino's long term interests, not wishing for the young country to be ruled over by Grado for the foreseeable future. He refused Pablo's bribes to side with Grado, standing by his own ideas.

Eirika: Factions... You're saying that the whole of Carcino has not betrayed Frelia?
Klimt: Correct. The moderate factions prefer to preserve our alliance with Frelia. Pablo's faction wishes to endear us to Grado, to surrender us to their armies.
