Seiðr (Japanese: セイズ Seiðr) is a character who debuts as a major protagonist in Book VII of Fire Emblem Heroes. A goddess from Vanaheimr, Seiðr allies with the Order of Heroes to prevent their defeat at the hands of Gullveig.

Role

Seiðr is a Mythic Hero, added to the cast of the game at the launch of Book VII, and is the first original character introduced in that book to be playable. Seiðr was made available for summoning as part of the summoning focus surrounding the Book VII update, and became available for summoning by players on December 7, 2022, and a 5★ Seiðr can also be obtained by clearing Chapter 13 of Book VII (released the same day). A New Year variation of Seiðr—a Duo Hero paired with Heiðr—was added to the game on January 1, 2024, and was first available to summon from then to February 1, 2024.

Seiðr: Goddess of Hope
Here's Seiðr! She's a goddess of Vanaheimr, the realm of light, which exists separately from our world, Midgard!	Seiðr came to rescue us from Gullveig, the Golden Seer. Apparently, she wants to change our future to save us from ruin!	As a goddess, Seiðr has a sublime air of divinity. That said, she's not infallible—she's got a surprisingly bad sense of direction!	Seiðr said she'd guide us to Vanaheimr and give us an audience with their king, Njörðr. No matter what happens, we'll do whatever it takes to keep Askr safe!

The two goddesses' outfits have been made to match each other, and they feature a Vanaheimr crest design on the hem. Doesn't Seiðr's kimono look beautiful with that pale pink gradient?
