Outrealms
The Outrealms (Japanese: 異界 other worlds) are mystical places accessible through the Outrealm Gate in Fire Emblem Awakening or the Dragon's Gate in Fire Emblem Fates. The realms are the DLC maps the player has purchased and can be accessed anytime at the player's leisure. The maps can be purchased through the "Purchase Maps" option in the Outrealm or Dragon's Gates and can then be played by clicking the "Play a Map" option.
The Outrealms consist of maps that either resemble areas from past Fire Emblem series or new maps created for the current game. Many of the Outrealms are called by different names as well. For example, the area used in the Summer Scramble map is called the "Hotrealms".
