Light Scatters/Script
Gathered in Cheve Underground, where the Nohr resistance took quarters, the royals of Hoshido happily reunite with Ryoma. Scarlet, the resistance's leader, learns only now that her allies are the Hoshidan royals, as Ryoma had joined her under cover to judge the group. Scarlet assures many in the resistance have ties with Hoshido, herself being the granddaughter of one of king Sumeragi's servants. Having taken arms to follow in her grandfather's steps, Scarlet asks to join the Hoshidan army and Ryoma gladly accepts, though he warns the others that even if Cheve's resistance has peaceful intents toward Hoshido, other rebel groups might not. The conversation is interrupted by a crash, and outside the resistance is overwhelmed by Nohr troops even though the place was supposed to be secret. Azura suggests there is still a traitor among them, which surprises Corrin, stating that what happened with Zola had ended, but Azura is doubtful and asks how else could this have happened, leaving Corrin in shock. Ryoma orders a retreat along a secret path leading straight to Nohr territory, but Scarlet says they are not ready for that mission. Ryoma states that running from the enemy won't bring an end to the war and they must confront Garon directly and wanting to take the enemy by surprise by launching a counterattack against Garon himself. Though skeptical and unwilling to abandon her troops, Scarlet decides to stick with the Hoshidan. As they reach the walls of Nohr and its defenders, Corrin bolsters the army's fighting spirit.
After the Nohr have been routed, Ryoma guides the army to a nearby wood to pass the night, stressing that they are now in enemy territory and should be ever vigilant for the reinforcements Garon will send. That night, a sleepless Corrin sights Azura singing her song while walking around a lake and decides to watch her from a distance, in case she might faint like in Cheve. When she approaches, Azura seems distant and refuses to talk about the song and its powers. She then briefly collapses in pain again, with purple marks crawling on her. She then reveals to Corrin that the blood they share, combined with her medallion, let her infuse magical effects into the song, at the price of her own suffering. Even then, she assures Corrin she is ready to sing and suffer to see Garon defeated and urges him/her to not hesitate to have her use the song. Corrin reluctantly accepts.
Summary
Corrin and his/her group at last reconnect with Ryoma in Cheve. Reunited, everyone pledges to combine their efforts and try to restore peace to the world.

Strategy
This section details unofficial strategies that may help with completion of the chapter. This may not work for everybody. |
- On Normal mode, using all three Dragon Veins will drop all the Outlaw, Knight and Mercenary reinforcements to 1 HP, the Hero reinforcement and the boss under 10 HP, and the Berserker and General reinforcements under 20 HP. As units in the castle don't move unless baited, risk/experience gain can be maximized by using two Dragon Veins before taking on the weakened enemy units.
- The Generals in the second part of the map are resilient and powerful units who can prove difficult to kill and dangerous to bait. The Armorslayer obtained during A Vow Upheld, the Sting Shuriken equipped by Kagero and Takumi's Fujin Yumi (if he was recruited during Ninja Village) are useful weapons against these enemies. Scarlet's high base Def score make her a good bait, though players wanting to get their experience for other units should unequip her Killer Axe as it can easily kill these enemies. Scarlet should not be used to bait the central Berserker however, as his Bolt Axe deals magic damage which Scarlet has poor base Resistance against.
