Unit and target cannot trigger Specials during combat or area-of-effect Specials (excluding Røkkr area-of-effect Specials). Grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 to unit, grants bonus to unit's Atk/Spd/Def/Res = 15% of unit's Spd at start of combat, and deals damage = 20% of unit's Spd during combat (excluding area-of-effect Specials), and restores 7 HP to unit after combat. Disables skills of all other foes and allies during combat, excluding unit and target. Disables the following effects for both unit and target during combat: defensive terrain effects, support effects, guaranteed follow-ups, effects that prevent follow-ups, effects that prevent counterattacks, and effects that change attack priority (Vantage, Desperation, etc.). |

Notes[ | ]
- Breezy Spear has the same effect as Distant Counter.
- The stat increase that can be applied by Breezy Spear is considered a temporary buff.
- A stat comparison made "At start of combat" ignores temporary buffs and temporary debuffs.
- Temporary buffs and temporary debuffs from skills such as Death Blow and Rauðrfox+ will not affect the outcome.
- Only stat boosts outside of combat, such as Bonuses and Penalties, will affect the outcome.
- The damage boosting effect of Breezy Spear ignores the foe's Def or Res when calculating the damage boost, and can be reduced by damage-reduction effects such as Gust, Atk/Spd Excel, and Dodge.
- A foe equipped with Embla's Ward, Múspellflame, Niðavellir Axiom, Gold Perfection, or Nine-Realm Pact will neutralize all sources of damage except from Røkkr area-of-effect Specials and the minimum 1 damage from Umbra Burst weapons.
- For more information, see Damage calculation.
- The healing effect is triggered regardless of whether Breezy Spear's user performs an attack during combat. If foe initiates combat and user cannot counterattack, Breezy Spear's healing effect will still trigger.
- Breezy Spear's user needs to survive the combat for the healing effect to trigger.
- Breezy Spear's healing effect stacks with skills such as Fury 4, that deal out of combat damage to their owner after combat.
- Breezy Spear's after combat healing will not work if the foe has a skill that prevents HP recovery such as Fatal Smoke 4 or Incurable+, or the user has been inflicted with Deep Wounds.
- Breezy Spear will prevent Non-Røkkr AoE Specials and Combat Specials from triggering.
- Breezy Spear only prevents the Special from triggering, so effects caused by the Special trigging (even from other skills) will not activate. Effects not caused by the Special trigging will activate.
- For Example, Gust's damage-reduction can still trigger, but it's damage boost will not trigger.
- Breezy Spear only prevents the Special from triggering, so effects caused by the Special trigging (even from other skills) will not activate. Effects not caused by the Special trigging will activate.
- The ally combat effect neutralization of Breezy Spear only activates during combat involving the unit. It has no effect if the unit is neither the attacker nor the defender of the combat.
- The ally combat effect neutralization of Breezy Spear does not prevent 【Savior】 from being triggered, because 【Savior】 is not a during combat effect.
- The ally combat effect neutralization of Breezy Spear does not neutralize effects granted to support partners during combat such as Renewed Fang and Dragon Blast.
- Breezy Spear disables the damage-reduction of Defensive terrain.
- Breezy Spear does not disable Divine Vein effects, because Divine Vein effects are not considered as defensive terrain.
- Ally Support effects that are disabled by Breezy Spear during combat:
- Support-partner pair effects such as Observant Staff+.
- Support-partner effects such as Lordly Lance.
- Breezy Spear will not neutralize the additional follow-up of 【Potent Follow X%】 or 【Potent Follow 100%】.
- Effects that are neutralized by Breezy Spear:
- Effects that grant the foe a guaranteed follow-up such as Quick Riposte 4, Guaranteed Follow-Ups, or the Grand Conquests Cavalry area effect.
- Effects active on the unit that prevent their follow-up attacks, such as Windsweep 3, Watersweep 3, or Weaving Fighter.
- Effects active on the foe that prevent the unit's follow-up attacks such as Steady Impact, Vengeful Fighter 4, or Foe Cannot Follow-Up.
- Effects that are neutralized by Breezy Spear:
- Effects active on the foe that prevent the unit's counterattack such as Windsweep 3 and Dazzling Shift.
- Effects active on the user that prevent their counterattack, such as Firesweep S+ and Counterattacks disrupted.
- Breezy Spear only neutralizes effects that change the priority, or order of attacks, such as Desperation, Vantage, and Paranoia.
- Effects such as Guaranteed Follow-Ups and Quick Riposte 4, which do not change the order, but rather guarantee that an attack will occur in whatever order is natural, are not affected.
