• During an Anime NYC 2019 interview with The Natural Aristocrat, Lisa Ortiz was asked if she hoped Amy Rose would convince Sonic to seriously date Amy eventually. Ortiz referenced the revamped appearance of Sonic in the Sonic the Hedgehog film, joking that now that Sonic looks like his old self again, Amy would give him another look. [In Amy Rose's voice] "Sure, sure I'll take a look at him now! We'll see.' But yeah, that would always be fun. I mean they've got a lot to learn. They had growing pains, like every relationship does."^[1]
• Although Ortiz no longer voices Amy, she and other former voice actors, including some of the 4Kids Entertainment voice actors, reprised their roles for various Sonic-related parodies ("One Real Sonic" by Jehtt).
