The Heal Unit^[3] (ヒールユニット^[4], Hīru Yunitto^?) is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is an invention of Gerald Robotnik's^[1] that, accordingly, has the ability to restore the energy of both living creatures and robots.

Overview[]

In Shadow the Hedgehog, Heal Units can be found in Space Gadget, The Doom and Lethal Highway. They are used by Shadow the Hedgehog to revive fallen researchers and GUN Soldiers to fill the Hero Gauge, or revive fallen Black Arms to fill the Dark Gauge. They are obtained from Heal Unit Servers (ヒールサーバー^[5], Hīru Sābā^?, lit. "Heal Server"), which provide infinite Heal Units.^[6]

Trivia[]

According to Maria Robotnik, the Heal Unit is her grandfather's greatest invention.^[1]
The Heal Unit has a side effect of dizziness.^[7]
When Shadow throws a Heal Unit at any GUN Soldier, they will stand, salute at him, and no longer attack.
The Heal Cannon has the same power as the Heal Unit.
