The Mermaid's Tear (人魚の涙, Ningyo no namida^?) is a collectible item that appears in Sonic and the Black Knight.

Description[]

The Mermaid's Tear is a blue jewel with a string attached to it at one end by a gray fastener.

Overview[]

In gameplay, the player can collect the Mermaid's Tear during different Missions in certain areas. For then to obtain it, the player must use the ID points earned from completing the Mission where the Mermaid's Tear was picked up to identify it on the identification screen. When equipped to the playable character, the Mermaid's Tear prevents the player from harming their Knight's Honor Bonus score when committing villainous acts, such as harming a Townsperson.
