The Egg Falcon is the second boss of Sonic Rivals, fought in Colosseum Highway Zone. It is a mechanical bird with a red head where Doctor Eggman's cockpit (who is actually Eggman Nega in disguise) is located, a silver "body" with two jet engines attached to its sides.
Battle[]
At the end of Colosseum Highway Zone, Dr. Eggman attacks in a giant mechanical falcon. The battle takes place amid a circular field with numerous floating platforms. As the Egg Falcon flies around the field, it drops various bombs. These bombs will set the platforms on fire that will ignite and damage a character standing on it, freeze platforms that will freeze a character if he jumps on it and shrink platforms to a tiny size, making them difficult to stand on.
Occasionally, the Egg Falcon will lower itself to striking range above the top platforms. Characters must make their way to these higher platforms, and attack the falcon's cockpit before it raises itself out of reach.
The first player to accumulate six hits wins the battle, and the boss is destroyed.
Trivia[]
- This boss looks similar to the Egg Hawk boss from Sonic Heroes.
- The fountain in the middle of the arena houses a statue of Eggman's head.
