The King Beeb is a very large beeb that attacks by gently rolling after Pikmin and leaders to crush them. Its glassy purple body is its weakpoint, and Pikmin can not weigh it down to slow its movements. After receiving enough damage, its body will crack and it will begin moving faster. Once defeated, its eyes will enlarge and it will collapse on the floor before exploding.

The Ballistic Rolyant is a miniboss appearing in Pikmin V, with its connection to the Beeb only being made in its scientific name. Its appearance is reminiscent of a rolypoly, being plump with five violet segments and a singular antenna and having the ability to curl into a ball. Rolling is how it moves around. One of these bugs appears at the end of the Rolyant Alley as the first miniboss; another appears in the Ferocity Pit, where it is significantly easier to defeat due to Rock Pikmin being available. Ballistic Rolyants can be seen as a much easier version of the Segmented Crawbster; after falling from the ceiling, it will curl up and chase the active leader to crush them and any Pikmin in the way. Its turning rate is limited to its size, and if made to collide with a wall, it will fall onto its back and be stunned. Pikmin can latch onto it at any time but will quickly be shaken off while it is rolling, even if they are Clawed Pikmin.
Notes
Brittany's notes
- “While originally named the King Rolyant due to the subservience of other Rolyants to one's command in a colony, new evidence suggests that these creatures are only higher-ranking soldiers within Rolyant society. They are indeed male-only, which may imply that there's a matriarch hiding even deeper, like what has been seen with Bulblaxes.”
Olimar's notes (initial)
- “It is dangerous to attack while it is rolling around. If it can be goaded into hitting a wall, it will become stunned and completely vulnerable for a small amount of time.”
Olimar's notes (added after finding Rock Pikmin)
- “Rock Pikmin are an ideal choice for fighting this enemy. They can deal damage while it is rolling and face no danger of being crushed.”
