Tosin is the main antagonist of the Star Trek: Voyager episode "Fair Trade".
He was played by James Horan, who voiced Scar in Kingdom Hearts, Skull Face in Metal Gear Sold V and Smaug in the 2003 Hobbit video game.
Biography[]
Tosin was one of the most powerful members of the Kolaati, a criminal group operating out of a space station near the Nekrit Expanse, smuggling and dealing drugs. At one point, the Talaxian Wixiban came to work for him. He employed Wixiban to smuggle some medical supplies to a dealer, Sutok, for use as narcotics. However, Sutok double-crossed them and his associates took the drugs without payment. Unhappy, Tosin demanded that Wixiban make up for his failure or be killed. Knowing that Wixiban was friends with Voyager crewmember Neelix, Tosin demanded a canister of pure warp plasma from Voyager as payment.
Tosin and two of his henchmen met Neelix and Wixiban to make the trade. Tosin was disappointed to discover that the warp plasma, which had not come from Voyager, was impure. However, Neelix informed him that he was about to be arrested. Tosin trained his gun on Neelix but Neelix revealed that the safety nodes on the canister had been disabled and it was leaking warp plasma: The section was already flooded, meaning any attempt to fire a weapon or transport out would ignite the gas and cause an explosion. Neelix dared Tosin to shoot him and Tosin instead ordered his men to replace the safeties. At that moment, the station administrator Bahrat and his guards entered to place Tosin under arrest. Against his instructions, one of Tosin's men fired a weapon, causing an explosion that incinerated him. Tosin and his remaining henchman were taken into custody.
