Hostilities is the third chapter of Fire Emblem Engage.
Story[]
Lumera talks about spending time with Alear and asks a favor of Sigurd. Alear has a dream about them in a hallway of flames staring at Lumera with an evil expression. Marth tells Alear not to worry about it and mentions that they're a kind person. Just then Lythos Castle is attacked by unknown assailants. Alear and the stewards step up to fight but are outnumbered. Alfred arrives with his retainers and they help take down the enemy including Abyme. Alear then confronts the attacker in the ring vault. The attacker tries to kill them but Lumera takes the blow. The attacker retreats dropping a charm as they leave. Lumera then dies giving Alear the instruction to gather the twelve emblem rings, gives them Sigurd's ring and mentions that she gave her power to them over the thousand years. After Lumera is given a funeral, Alfred mentions that his kingdom is under attack and came to request Lumera's aid. Alear accepts on thier mother's behalf.
