Profile[]
Céline is the Princess of Firene and the daughter of the current queen of Firene, Ève. She is also the younger sister of the Crown Prince Alfred. Her retainers are Chloé and Louis.
When Elusia invaded Firene, Ève sent Alfred to Lythos to ask for assistance from Queen Lumera. Before Alfred could return, Ève gave her daughter the Ring of the Caring Princess and told her to escape the castle with it, knowing that Elusia was seeking it. Taking her retainers, Céline fled to Florra Mill Town where a massive army of Corrupted caught up to her. Fortunately, Alfred had just arrived back in Firene with the Divine Dragon Alear in tow. Upon meeting them, Alear unlocks the Ring of the Caring Princess, awakening Celica within. Needing as much power as necessary, Alear lets Céline use the ring in the battle.
After the battle, Céline leads the party to Firene Castle where they find Queen Ève being held hostage by Mage Dragon Zephia and her retainer Nelucce, who demands the Ring of the Caring Princess before having Nelucce haul her off, and upon meeting Alear, also demands the Rings of the Hero-King and the Holy Knight, but they refuse and challenge them to a fight. Zephia gets away while Nelucce is defeated and retreats, and the party rescues the Queen; they catch her up on everything that's happened and she allows Alear to keep their Emblem Ring, while also informing them of a second ring, the Ring of the Dawn Maiden, much to their surprise. After she tells them where it is, Alfred and Céline ask their mother for permission to join Alear on his journey, to which she accepts and wishes them luck.
After the war, if Céline survives, she spends the rest of her life doing everything she can to keep the peace in Firene, including punishing those she considers a threat, while also continuing to hold tea parties, where her favorite tea became known as the Tea of Blessings.
Fell Xenologue[]
In an alternate universe, Céline was a more cold and cunning princess who didn't care for anyone outside of Firene, so much so that she leads invasions into other territories to aid their own kingdom; though she did care for the Divine Dragon Monarch Alear, and supported them in the war against the Fell Dragon, she also secretly wished to test their strength herself. After the war, Alfred and Céline were the only survivors of Firene, as their Mother and retainers had died in battle; Céline has been unable to drink her favorite tea without Louis or Etie and has been unable to locate Chloé after her reconnaissance flight, leaving her to believe that she had died as well. Céline chose to blame Nel and Nil for Alear's death simply because they were Fell Dragons and related to Sombron, and subsequently severed all ties with Lythos, and she and Alfred now struggle to maintain their kingdom as its condition worsens, while she relies on the strength of the Bracelet of the Brash General to bolster their defenses.
Presently, Céline insists that Alfred command the army to invade Brodia in order to provide for their people due to their declining economy, insisting that she will go herself if he does not approve, leading him to relent and approve the invasion, much to her delight. Intercepted by Nil, Nel and Zelestia, they urge them to hand over the Bracelet of the Brash General, to which Céline refuses as it is necessary for their invasion efforts, while blaming them for the death of Alear, to which she declares a fight. The main timeline Alear tries to intervene, but Céline jumps to the conclusion that they are one of the Corrupted and declare a fight, believing they can free them. Upon the Firenese siblings' defeat, they relinquish the bracelet and apologize for the misunderstanding and their actions, Céline also apologizes for blaming Nel and Nil for Sombron's actions and resolves to find a way to improve their economy without resorting to war. They then ask to join the army, but Nel insists they stay as Firene needs their leaders to watch over them, they agree and wish them luck with their mission, inviting them to visit when they are done.

At some point however, Nel returns to Firené castle and kills Alfred and Céline as she knew that both of them were Corrupted, and were unaware of their condition.
After Nil gathered the seven bracelets, Céline was resurrected a second time with the Bracelet of the Three Houses but was again defeated and dies with pride.
Personality[]
Céline is graceful, poised, and innocent with a serene air about her. She is staunchly protective of Firene and is willing to enter the fray in defense of it if needed. She supports both her mother, Queen Ève, and her older brother Alfred, though she's often exasperated by the latter's boorish behavior. She is one of the few individuals privy to his true health condition and frets over his incessant need to grow stronger. Despite this, she wholeheartedly supports his endeavors, and in turn, Alfred promises to help find her "small joys" during their journey.
Céline is best described as a girl who lives in the moment during downtime amongst her friend and allies as she states in her support with Alfred that she does not seek out happiness as an end goal of her life. In several supports, such as with Alfred and Louis, she can appreciate the "joyful" moments she spends with others and does not seek both excitement or extravagance. However, as stated with Alfred, she frets over the possibility of the worst happening when hoping for the best and does not want to be let down by such disappointments. Even though she escaped the invasion of Firene by Elusia, Céline states that she does not know what she would have done had the kingdom fell or her family were killed.
One of Céline's few passions regards tea, of which she shows a vast knowledge of the various blends from throughout Elyos even beyond Firene's boarders. She enjoys inviting others to tea to simply chat and finds those moments relaxing, regardless if she is sharing cups or having the other person serve her. It is revealed in some of her supports that she drinks tea as a way to cope with tough situations.
Fell Xenologue Céline[]
Céline's Fell counterpart is more ruthless and headstrong as she enjoys fighting for her people. She wears the pride of her country on her sleeve and does everything she can to keep her country strong, even if it means invading other territories by herself to expand their kingdom, while urging Alfred to follow her example. Preferring prosperity over peace, she shows no regard for anyone's life outside of Firene, believing that it's okay that others suffer so long as her own people can be happy. She appears to be unhappy with her life as a princess, mostly due to the loss of her loved ones, and would rather spend her days fighting for Firene, hoping that making her people happy can also make her feel happy again. She also displays a desire to fight Alear as she wishes to know who would win in a fight to the death, which she couldn't do as they were allies. She is however capable of realizing when she has gone too far and apologizing for her actions, as well as trying to find a compromise to help her people.

After being revived a second time, Céline becomes euphoric at the realization that she is a Corrupted as she feels that she is free from her responsibilities as a princess and shows delight in being able to kill Alear and their friends. After being defeated again, she dies a proud member of the Firene royal family and is happy to reunite with her mother and friends.

Céline is a Mage-type character and the second to join the player's army. Unlike most early mages, she has a strong focus on mixed-attacking stats, being able to wield Swords as well as Tomes and with her starting Strength and Magic being relatively closely aligned. Her class growths also support this, with her Magic growth actually being the lowest among all her stats except Build, even after adding the class growths of Noble. Her other growths are average to above average, with special mention towards her Luck growth, which is the highest starting Luck growth in the game when combined with her class. As a result, Céline can become a surprisingly evasive unit in the lategame with a versatile range of targets, but can struggle to land KOs on faster enemies that have good mixed defense such as Paladins and Heroes.
Céline's unique promoted class is Vidame, which gives her access to Staffs. As with her starting class, it does not provide her with higher Magic growth than Strength, but does give her a modest boost across all of her stats sans Build, especially her Luck, and access to Ignis which further augments her mixed attacking potential by giving a chance to add half of her Strength to a magical attack and vice versa. If she is reclassed, Mage Knight is also a natural fit for her to boost her magic growth, and does not require any additional weapon proficiencies to spec into.
Her Personal Skill is Gentle Flower, which boosts recovery items used by allies within 2 spaces by 50%. This gives much more value to Vulneraries, especially on harder difficulties, where damage is heavy and healing can be thin. It also scales well for things like the Leftovers and even Elixirs in the late game.
The Ring of the Caring Princess is Céline's starting ring and she is a natural fit for it, giving her access to Seraphim and Warp Ragnarok for pseudo-mobility, which can also aid her later in the game. The Ring of the Lady of the Plains is a strong offensive ring on her, as the additional Speed bonuses potentially let her cross multiple speed thresholds for Follow-Ups later in the game, and if she is promoted to Vidame, has a chance to proc Ignis on every use of Astra Storm. The Ring of the Dawn Maiden improves her supporting capability with staff usage if her promoted class is not pursued, along with the self-healing Nosferatu tome which can combine well with her high avoidance. Finally, the Ring of the Instructor can turn Céline into a supportive unit with the likes of Instruct to give allies buffs and Goddess Dance to give her the ability to refresh multiple units. Most importantly, her high Luck meshes extremely well with Divine Pulse to ensure a hit on an otherwise missed attack, which her low Dexterity can sometimes cause. Also as her default class set is Mystical, she gains Thyrsus to extend her spell cast range by two.
Overall, Céline is very modest in performance, but her somewhat inconsistent growths can lead to noticeably different stat outcomes late game, especially offensively. Celine is a good jack-of-all-trades, especially once promoted, as she contains mixed damage and her sometimes potent combat Class Skill further contributes to her being a good taskmaster while also gaining some easy EXP and supporting allies with Staves. While she lacks the explosive damage of others who specialize in a damage type like Panette for physical and Ivy for magical, Céline's balanced, mixed prowess in both allows her to flexibly fulfill damage needs, albeit only on an average scale.
