Profile[]

Physical description[]

Mervin is an old man who wears a purple cloak.

Personality traits[]

Mervin is a wise man who has the knowledge of the legend of Cramalot.

Biography[]

Mario, Luigi, Princess Toadstool and Toad ventured to Cramalot to search for Mervin so he can help Toadstool free her people from King Koopa. When the Beezo attempted attacking the group, the group fought the Beezos, and Mervin saved them by zapping the Beezos. He invited them over to his cave and he proceeds to tell the group that the Beezos that attacked them were sent by King Koopa. He demonstrated through the crystal ball that the old king of Cramalot died, and King Koopa crowned himself king. As Princess Toadstool asked about freeing Cramalot, Mervin stated an old legend that said the one who can pull the Golden Plunger from the Sacred Sink of Cramalot can defeat King Koopa and save Cramalot.

Mario successfully pulled the Golden Plunger from the Sacred Sink and the townspeople of Camelot commemorated Mario's victory. However, this ended shortly after King Koopa's army of Koopa Paratroopas trapped the group in a net and grabbed the Golden Plunger and imprisoned the group but Mervin. Mervin freed them from the flooding prison.

They headed to the "Forest of Perpetual Night and Terrible Dangers" when lightning struck a nearby lake, causing a hand holding a "plumbing snake" to rise from the water which was confirmed to be Excalibur. The hand tossed to Excalibur to Mario. Grabbing Excalibur, Mario transformed into Super Mario. With his new powers and confidence, Mervin lead Mario, Luigi, Toad, and Toadstool to Cramalot Castle.

Mario and co. intervened the castle with the Excalibur on his hand. Mario with Excalibur fought against King Koopa with the Golden Plunger. Mario defeated King Koopa and reclaimed the Golden Plunge saving Camelot once again. King Koopa surrendered as he left through a door. Mervin told Mario that Cramalot wants him to be crowned king. However, realising that committing to being king means no pasta for him, he backed off being a king running towards the horizons causing others to laugh about it.
