"Cher's Poochie" is the fourteenth live-action segment of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!. It is paired with the animated episode "Brooklyn Bound."

Plot[]

Mario, Luigi, and Edison construct a Pizza Transformer right there in the basement. Just as they've finished perfecting it, Cher pops in and makes them look after her dog, Poochie. But then, through sheer stupidity and his Pizza Transformer, Mario winds up having his brain switched with Poochie's. Luigi does absolutely nothing about it until after Cher returns and faints upon discovering that her dog is talking and Mario is chasing cats.

After a preview of The Legend of Zelda episode "The White Knight," Luigi finally does use the Pizza Transformer to get Mario's brain back in the right body, but Poochie's brain ends up in Cher's body.

• "Cher's Poochie" is one of many examples in which an impersonator plays as the guest star. In the case of "Cher's Poochie," Cher is portrayed by Pam Matteson.
