Uimet is a Viera introduced in Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers. A part of a trio of sisters, she fiercely protects the secrets and history of the Ronkan Empire, deep within the Rak'tika Greatwood.

Appearance[]

Uimet is a Veena Viis with short purple hair, dark reddish eyes, and long, straight rabbit ears. She wears the Ravel Keeper's Chestwrap of Aiming Ravel Keeper's Chestwrap of Aiming, which is a set of brass and leather armour. She wears brass gloves with traditional tattoos on her arms, and the Viera racial pantalettes and heels. In battle, she wields a spear adorned with brass chains.

Personality[]

Uimet can be considered the fiercest and most playful of her sisters. She willingly charges headfirst into a battle. She tends to tease her younger sister, Cymet, but she never dares to question the authority of her elder sister, Almet.

Gameplay[]

Uimet and her sisters are present in the Legend of the Not-so-hidden Temple Legend of the Not-so-hidden Temple solo instanced duty where the player must travel through the Confessional of Toupasa the Elder, within the Great Pyramid of Ux'ner. She later joins the player again in the A Sleep Disturbed A Sleep Disturbed solo instanced duty once more, where she is separated from the player by Huaca's magic, and must be rescued through a series of riddles.

Uimet is voiced by Nina Yndis in the English translation, and by Mariya Ise in Japanese. She shares her Japanese voice actress with Nanamo Ul Namo, Tataru Taru, and Beq Lugg, as well as Paddra Nsu-Yeul from Final Fantasy XIII-2 and she shares her English voice actress with Benedikta Harman from Final Fantasy XVI.
