Synopsis
The episode opens at night. The PJ Masks are in the Owl-Glider and about to return to HQ when Owlette spots Romeo's Flying Factory. When they investigate, they see Romeo working on a new invention. He brags to the PJs that only a “space genius” can stop him this time, and escapes with his factory before the PJs can do anything more.
The following day, Connor, Greg and Amaya spot Newton at the bus stop, and ask him to help them that night since Romeo is obviously planning something in space, which is Newton's specialty. Newton doesn't like the idea of fighting villains, but agrees to come.
That night, the PJ Masks and Newton Star meet up at HQ. They spot the Flying Factory, guarded by an army of Fly Bots. The PJs attack the factory with the Owl Glider to distract the Fly Bots so Newton can sneak inside. Once in, he finds out the machine Romeo built is an Asteroid Grabber, which he intends to use to capture a special spinning asteroid that is currently circling the Earth. Newton hurries back to the Owl Glider to warn the PJs. While Owlette uses the Owl Glider to slow down the Flying Factory, Newton goes into space to try and keep the asteroids safe. He uses his power to stop the asteroid from spinning, but as it turns out that was exactly what Romeo wanted; the asteroid was spinning too fast for Romeo to catch, so he tricked the PJs into getting Newton to slow it down first.
Romeo activates his machine and captures the asteroid. He reveals his machine is actually a Super Space Sucky Ray, and now that he has an asteroid to power it, it can suck up anything. Romeo begins to attack the city, sucking up multiple objects, while a disappointed Newton returns to the Owl Glider. The PJs encourage him not to give up just because Romeo tricked him, but Newton is too unsure of himself. The PJs thus try to stop Romeo alone, but soon the Owl Glider is also captured by the ray. Romeo greatly enjoys his victory, but in his enthusiasm he drops the remote and the Super Space Sucky Ray accidentally also sucks up Robot.
As Romeo regains control of his Super Space Sucky Ray and targets the PJs themselves, Newton unexpectedly comes to their aid again. He deliberately allows the ray to hit him, and gets sucked into the machine. Once inside, he stops the asteroid from spinning, which reverts the Super Space Sucky Ray‘s effect. All objects are released again. Newton releases the asteroid itself as well, and returns it to space. Romeo angrily leaves, while the PJs shout their victory cry.
