CharactersThe following characters appeared in the episode "Robot Goes Wrong": SynopsisThe episode begins with Connor, Amaya, and Greg about to play soccer when Cameron comes in chasing a huge bouncy ball he found around the neighborhood, which eventually wedges in the door of Greg’s shed. The logo on it indicates that it belongs to Romeo. Once PJ Robot tracks him down that night causing destruction around the town with a ball machine, the PJ Masks drive over to confront him. Catboy kicks another ball fired by him away, but it hits Robot, who is collecting the balls to reload the machine. He malfunctions and shuts down. Although initially angry at the team for breaking Robot, Romeo decides that he is of no use to him anymore and leaves to create more chaos. The team unanimously agrees to stop him first, then fix Robot later, Catboy stating that he is just a robot. Back at HQ, however, PJ Robot witnessed everything that has happened so far. After rewinding the security footage a few times, he becomes angry at the team, hurt from their words and actions concerned around fixing Robot. PJ Robot continues watching the PJ Picture Player as the team finds Romeo at the sports field. After they are sent flying into the goal while trying to deflect a couple of the balls away, they are attacked with more of them. They contact PJ Robot for backup, but he doesn’t respond. Worried that something might be wrong, the team decides to check up on him with Catboy volunteering to keep Romeo distracted. Unbeknownst to them, PJ Robot has left HQ to fix Robot. Owlette and Gekko approach the PJ Picture Player showing paused footage of them about to chase Romeo. They rewind the video back to the contemplation of fixing Robot. Upon hearing Catboy say about Robot that “he’s just a robot,” and seeing themselves agree with it, they become shocked. They suspect that their actions must have led PJ Robot to think that if they didn’t care about Robot, then they must not care about him as well, resulting in him running away. Catboy returns to headquarters after sending Romeo away with the Cat-Car’s Cat Roar feature. Owlette and Gekko explain what happened to PJ Robot by bringing up the situation about fixing Robot. When Catboy repeats what he had said earlier, he becomes remorseful. Owlette and Gekko also share the blame because they’ve agreed with the statement. The three take off to find PJ Robot so they can apologize to him, especially when Romeo is around. Unfortunately, Romeo finds PJ Robot fixing Robot, and is almost out of power while doing so. Despite Robot’s protests, Romeo takes this opportunity to reprogram PJ Robot into working for him again and turning against the PJ Masks. Using whatever energy he has left, PJ Robot sends a distress signal. As soon as the team receives it and quickly finds him, Owlette traps Romeo with her Super Owl Feathers. Robot informs the team about PJ Robot using his energy to fix him. While Catboy uses his Super Cat Speed power to fully charge PJ Robot, he apologizes to Robot on behalf of the team about not fixing him earlier. They should have, and this wouldn’t have resulted in PJ Robot getting himself into trouble doing so. As soon as he powers up, the PJ Masks apologize for their actions and affirm with him that he is their friend, and a part of their family. He becomes touched and apologizes himself about running away and not trusting them to do the right thing. The team soon notices PJ Robot connected to a machine so Romeo can control him again. The first instinct is to remove him from it; however, they decide to do some reprogramming themselves by playing along with PJ Robot “in Romeo’s control.” Romeo eventually breaks through the Owl Feathers after failed multiple attempts. Convinced that PJ Robot is reprogrammed, he attacks the team with more ball projectiles to prevent them from changing him back so he can have access to all of HQ’s secrets. He asks him and Robot to help out. Suddenly, Romeo's Lab turns around and fires a ball projectile at him. Gekko had snuck over to the lab’s computer through his Super Gekko Camouflage to override his reprogramming, and PJ Robot can take control of the vehicle. Robot refuses to help Romeo because he did not help him when he broke down and is touched by the team’s treatment towards PJ Robot. He will help him out if he can do something nice for him first. The two villains leave as the lab continues to fire more ball projectiles at Romeo, who just gives Robot threats instead. The PJ Masks express their happiness to have PJ Robot back, and promise that they’ll treat him and his robot friends better from now on. Moral/Lesson
