A Lava Cheep Cheep's scales are dark mahogany, and they have asterisk-shaped pupils. Lava Cheep Cheeps are undead Cheep-Cheeps. And they are always on fire due to them always appearing from lava.

Behavior[]

A Lava Cheep Cheep swims a short distance in a single direction before leaping in an arc back to their initial position.

Habitats[]

Lava Cheep Cheeps inhabit the lava in the lower area of Corona Mountain.

While exploring Corona Mountain, Mario can spray water at a Lava Cheep Cheep to stun it temporarily.
