Glorpedos are a type of gloopy Spiked Ball appearing in Super Mario Sunshine, they are used as ammo by the Monty Mole for his Cannon, upon being launched from their cannon, they roll along the ground leaving a Goopy trail in their wake, eventually, they hit the ground with a large splat, creating a large puddle of Goop at the bottom of the cliffs.
History[]
Super Mario Sunshine[]
Glorpedos appear in Super Mario Sunshine, in this game, they only appear in Noki Bay during the mission Uncork the Waterfall, Glorpedos are used as ammo for the Cannon manned by the Monty Mole who is perched on the cork blocking the waterfall at the top of the cliffside ruins. The Glorpedos are launched in endless supplies and upon being launched, they roll down the hill leaving a trail of Goop in their wake, as they roll, as they reach the lower ledges, they bounce as well and upon hitting the cliff's bottom, they splat leaving a large puddle of Goop at the bottom of the cliffs, this puddle can be slippery so be sure to spray it with F.L.U.D.D., the trails of Goop left by the Glorpedos can form into Swoopin' Stus as well.
If Mario is hit by a Glorpedo, he will obviously take damage, to destroy a Glorpedo, Mario will need to spray them with F.L.U.D.D., which causes them to expand in size until they burst, releasing the water around them. Jumping on them is ill-advised, as doing so would create a very large puddle of Goop.
