Loud em Casa (English: Loud at Home) is the European Portuguese dub of The Loud House.

Translations[]

• Originally, Vanzilla's name was addapted in "The Sweet Spot" as "Carrinhazilla", a direct portuguese translation of its original name. However, all subsequent episodes opted to just use its English name, likely due to being easier to pronounce.
• Leni's catchphrase "OMGosh" is translated as "Não pode ser" which means "It can't be".
• Lori's nickname for Bobby, "Boo-Boo Bear", is translated as "Fofinho" which is a synonym for someone who is cute.
  • Despite this, in "The Loudest Mission: Relative Chaos" the nickname is translated as "Ursinho Boo-Boo" which is a more direct translation of its English equivelent.
• Dairyland Amoosement Park's name is addapted as "O Parque dos Laticínios" but following the first few episodes where the park is mentioned, the park is simply just refered to as "O Laticínio", which means "The Dairy", in most instances, or as "O Parque de Diversões" which translates to "The Amusement Park".

Trivia[]

• Like in the original version and the Arabic, Bulgarian, Dutch, German, Norwegian, Latin American Spanish, European Spanish, Swedish and Turkish dubs, Lana and Lola share the same voice actress during the first voice cast of this dub, Raquel Ferreira.
  • This is also the case for the second voice cast introduced in Season 8, where both characters are voiced by Joana Amorim.
• A considerable amount of supporting and minor characters in this dub, share their voice ators with those used for the main characters.
  • For example, the original voice actor for Bobby and Harold, Tiago Matias, also provided the voices of Albert, Flip, Mr. Bolhofner and Todd. (Additionaly, in The Casagrandes he also voiced CJ, Carlos and Arturo)
• Luís Barros, who voiced Lynn Sr. and Howard, provided the voice for the episodes' titles in the title cards as well as translations of almost any onscreen English text during an episode. All of this holds true as well for his eventual replacement in Season 8, although translations of onscreen text seem to have become much less frequent.

Background information[]

• Since this dub shares feed with the European Spanish dub, the title cards aren't localized and the dub cast isn't accredited on screen.
• Sometime between the recordings of Europe Road Trip: A Knight to Remember and Europe Road Trip: Nonna Your Business in Season 8 the entire voice cast for this dub was completly replaced with the only actress from the previous cast remainig being Paula Pais, who primarily voices Lori.
  • It should be noted that Ana Teresa Pousadas had already replaced Inês Marques as the voices of Leni and Luan since Homeward Bound at the beginning of Season 8, and she would take over the voice of Lucy as part of the aforementioned voice cast change.
  • The cast change was also reflected in the dub for The Really Loud House starting with the episode McLouds vs Machine.
  • Interestingly, the characters assigned to each memeber of the first voice cast, seem have been maintained for their eventual replacements, as characters like Lincoln and Lynn still share the same actress, for each of the respective casts. This is also the case for Leni and Luan as well as Lisa and Lily.

Errors[]

• In the promotional video "The Loud House International Theme Song", the portion of the theme song played in Portuguese is the version used by Brazilian Portuguese dub, despite the fact that the localized logo used by this dub is shown.
  • It's also the case with the European Spanish dub.
• In Europe Road Trip: Greece Is the Word, Leni's lines at the end of the episode are voiced by Paula Pais, who is responsible for voicing Lori, despite her current actress, Ana Teresa Pousadas, doing her lines at the begining of said episode.
• Similar to airings of the Polish dub on Nickelodeon and Nicktoons Poland, episodes from Season 2 starting with "Relative Chaos" and all the episodes from Seasons 3 and 4 have aired in Nickelodeon Portugal in a low pitch audio, instead of the original audio pitch, since July 2023. Meanwhile Season 1 and the first 12 episodes from Season 2 are shown with new PAL masters (speeding up the sound rate without changing pitch for 4,271%). The NTSC pitch masters in 24 frames per second were also kept for show's releases on SkyShowtime and Netflix.
• Due to unknown reasons, "Relative Chaos", "The Loudest Thanksgiving" and The Casagrandes story arc episodes of Season 4 have been excluded from reruns on Nickelodeon Portugal since at least 2024, although the episodes are available to stream on SkyShowtime.
  • Curiously, all of these are episodes where the Casagrandes family is featured.
  • "Schooled!" seems to have also been excluded from reruns, although the episode aired on December 27, 2024, meaning that it has been likely recontextualized as a Chistmas/Holiday episode, despite that never being the episode's original intention.
• On the streaming service SkyShowtime, a considerable amount of the episodes' titles are either incorrectly translated or are presented in English without being translated, in the episodes' descriptions. In particular the episodes in Season 7 from "Out of Step" to "Can't Lynn Them All" have their titles accidently swaped with those from some episodes of Season 2 of Baby Shark's Big Show and vice versa.
