Season 5 is the fifth season of The Loud House, which was renewed by Nickelodeon on May 7, 2019, and consists of 26 half-episodes. Season 5 premiered on September 11, 2020 with the episode "Schooled!" and ended on March 4, 2022 with the episodes "Runaway McBride” and "High Crimes."
Meanwhile, for the fifth season of Loud House, Lincoln and his friends graduate elementary school and face new challenges and adventures as they tackle the trials and tribulations of middle school; each sister moves up a grade; and Lori decides if she’s ready to leave home for college. The season will also showcase holiday-themed episodes and introduce new characters and locations.
Lincoln tries to swap middle school classes after being separated from the gang, but ends up being transferred to Canada; Lori doesn't fit in on any of the college dorm floors; Mom and Dad rush to potty train Lily for preschool.
When Dad discovers that his childhood camp is closing, he decides to take the family for one final visit; they soon uncover a map that could lead to a treasure big enough to save the camp and prove the existence of an old camp legend.
When Rusty is wrongfully suspended, the Action News Team leaps into action to clear his name.
Trivia[]
Starting from this season onward:
The title cards have a new design. The three boxes that show the credits are now themed around the episode. However, they still retain the usual red, yellow, and blue color scheme.
Lincoln and his friends are now in middle school.
Lori has left for college, currently making Leni the oldest sibling in the house, until Season 8.
Lily has started preschool, is now wearing a white shirt and lavender pants, is now potty-trained, and is capable of speaking full (albeit grammatically incorrect) sentences.
Lisa has graduated kindergarten.
Lana and Lola have slightly deeper voices due to their voice actress Grey Griffin aging.
Despite Lori moving to college and Lily growing up, the intro is the same as in prior seasons, and this also continues into the following seasons.
This season currently holds the record for having the longest lifespan in terms of airing order, at 539 days (1 year, 5 months and 21 days).
Bobby is the only member of the Casagrande family to appear in this season, making this the first season to not feature his sister and the first since Season 1 without the rest of his family.
Thus, this is one of three seasons to not air its finale episode as part of a premiere week, along with Season 2 and Season 3.
Although Season 3 did not air its finale episode in production order as part of a premiere week, it did do this to its finale episode in broadcast order.
Looking forward, to make sure the The Loud House remains fresh and relevant with kids aging out of the demo, season five will see the characters all aged up by a year. This also gives the team the opportunity to tell new stories as character dynamics change, adds Sullivan.
It is confirmed that the characters will age up a year starting this season. This happened to Lily,[4] Lisa,[5] and the twins.[6]
Lincoln would turn 12 in the Season 6 premiere episode, "Present Danger", and Lucy would turn 9 in the Season 7 episode "Bye Bye Birthday". While the continuity relative to The Loud House is not explicitly specific, Ronnie Anne was confirmed to be 11 1/2 in the Casagrandes episode "15 Candles" (which premiered during the run of this season) and would later turn 12 in The Casagrandes Movie (which premiered during the run of Season 7).
Along with the confirmation of this season, more members have joined the cast for The Casagrandes.
