"Weather or Not" is the eighth episode of the eighth season, and the three-hundred-forty-first episode of The Loud House. Plot[]Flip sees a lucrative business opportunity when he discovers Nacho has the ability to predict the weather. Synopsis[]At Flip's Food and Fuel, Flip is asking Nacho where they should go for their vacation. Nacho makes the suggestion that they go to the place with the best dumpsters. At that moment, Lincoln and Clyde enter, and when Nacho feels and sniffs the wind blowing into the store, Nacho quickly tells Flip to bring an umbrella. However, Flip initially disregards Nacho's warning, saying that Patchy Drizzle confirmed that it would be sunny today, only to immediately be proven wrong when storm clouds arrive, and it starts to rain. The next day, Lincoln and Clyde arrive to the Food and Fuel and tell Nacho that they're going on a field trip to the Royal Woods Tar Pits and, after what happened yesterday, want a second opinion on the weather when Patchy says it'll be sunny today. Taking a whiff of the weather, Nacho warns them that it will be windy, and his prediction proves to be correct once again, as Lincoln, Clyde, and the rest of their classmates experience strong gusts of wind. Realizing he has a gift of predicting the weather, Flip proclaims to his friend that they may have just found their newest moneymaking venture. ![]() Thanks to his natural talent, Nacho becomes a weather raccoon. The next day, Lincoln and Clyde arrive to Flip's and discover that he has converted his store into a stage show called Flip's Food 'n Forekast, where he charges visitors $20 to hear Nacho's prediction for the weather. After a brief DJ performance by Tyler, Nacho appears on stage and, after sensing the weather from the door, makes the proclamation that it will be sunny all day. When Flip overhears from Lori's phone that Patchy was wrong again, Flip gets another idea on how to become richer. Later, it is revealed that Flip convinced the news station Patchy works at to fire him in order to have Nacho take his place. Two weeks later, Patchy is revealed to be working at the Food and Fuel, where he promotes all kinds of different Nacho-themed merchandise. When Nacho arrives, Flip tells him that he just got a call from the mayor of New Jersey in order to discuss about the possibility of Nacho working for them as "Newark Nacho", to which Flip accepted (causing Patchy to leave when he realizes his position as Royal Woods' weatherman is back open). When Nacho asks if Flip will be tagging along with him, Flip declines, telling him that he has to run his store. One week later, Flip is basking in his newfound wealth thanks to Nacho's successful gig in New Jersey. After spending some time on a cruise he bought, he arrives back to his store, but upon seeing all the Nacho merchandise around him, he quickly starts to miss his friend. Lincoln and Clyde, passing by the store, hear Flip crying loudly and enter the store, asking him what's wrong. When Flip says that he sent his friend away to New Jersey, the two make the suggestion that Flip call Nacho in order to ask him to come home. After Flip's call to Nacho is sent to voice mail, Flip calls up the Newark news station, to which their news guy, Newton, reveals that Nacho is going to Norway after being offered a gig there. Flip believes that he'll never see Nacho again, but Lincoln and Clyde encourage him to not give up, and give Flip the confidence to go and stop his friend from leaving. ![]() Flip apologizes to Nacho for sending him away. Later, Flip is piloting his biplane to the Newark Airport with Lincoln and Clyde in the backseat. Upon seeing Nacho board a plane, Flip quickly dives down onto the runway to stop the plane from taking off. When the plane stops, Flip apologizes to Nacho for sending him away and that their friendship is more important than all the money in the world. When Flip begs him to come home, Nacho agrees, and the two are reunited. Soon afterwards, Flip, Nacho, Lincoln and Clyde are flying back home amidst a terrible thunderstorm (to which Nacho tried to warn Flip about but ignored him by saying that he doesn't have to worry about making any more weather predictions).
