Harmidom (English: Clamor House) is the Polish dub of The Loud House.

This dub premiered on May 16, 2016 on Nickelodeon Poland. It subsequently premiered on August 29, 2016 on Nickelodeon HD Central & Eastern Europe and on June 3, 2019 on Nicktoons HD Central & Eastern Europe.

Marathons[]

• On May 18, 2016, Nickelodeon Poland aired a marathon of Harmidom with episodes: S1E1, S1E2, S1E3, S1E4, S1E5, S1E6, S1E8, S1E9, and S1E10. The marathon was running from 12:00am to 3:50pm CEST.
• On November 19, 2016 Nickelodeon Poland aired a marathon of Harmidom with episodes: S1E16, S1E17, S1E18, S1E19, S1E20, S1E21, S1E22, S1E23, S1E24, and S1E26. The marathon was running from 12:05am to 3:50pm CEST.
• On November 30, 2019, Nicktoons HD CEE aired a marathon of Harmidom including a premiere of "Deal Me Out" as a part of Ace and Jack themed episodes, while on February 15, 2020 Nicktoons HD CEE aired a short marathon including love themed Loud House episodes.
• On June 13 and 14, 2020 from 16:05 to 19:45 CEST, Nicktoons HD CEE aired a marathon of Harmidom including the following episodes: S1E7, S1E22, S2E13, S2E21, S3E17, S4E6, S4E8, and S4E13.

Censorship[]

Episodes featuring LGBT characters (e.g. Howard and Harold, Luna and Sam) were banned from reruns on Nickelodeon from June 6, 2018 after the Ordo Iuris lodged a complaint to the Polish National Broadcasting Council regarding the LGBT themes presented in the series. The organization claimed that the positive portrayal of same-sex parents went against Article 18 of the Polish Constitution, which defines marriage as "a union of a man and a woman".^[3][4] In addition, homosexuality is seen as taboo in Poland, where same-sex relationships are not officially recognized, although Donald Tusk, who was elected as the Polish Prime Minister in December 2023, has promised to "expand LGBT rights"[1], however, the banned episodes with Polish dubbing featuring gay characters are shown since October 3, 2022 on Nicktoons Commercial Poland / HD CEE. This also applies to Hungarian, Czech, Romanian and Bulgarian tracks.

The ban also applied to newer episodes featuring the aforementioned characters which were intended to air after the said date, as well as episodes paired with the banned episodes.

• Even though some Season 2 episodes featuring Clyde' fathers were banned on TV, they were available between 2017 and 2020 on Nickelodeon Poland website.
• However, the dialogue does not censor any mentions of Clyde's fathers in other episodes.
• Several Season 5 episodes featuring Clyde's fathers were dubbed and aired (with the exception of "Runaway McBride"), but Clyde now refers to his fathers as just his parents, without specifying their gender.

There is a possibility that the older episodes have been unbanned; the November 2021 Nickelodeon Poland schedule stated that some of the banned episodes would air ("Attention Deficit"/"Out on a Limo" on Oct 19, "Lincoln Loud: Girl Guru"/"Come Sale Away" on Oct 20 and "Cooked!" on Nov 19),^[5] however none of those episodes feature Sam.^[6]

• "Deal Me Out"/"Friendzy" was aired after 2 years of its last re-run in segments on Nicktoons HD CEE, starting 9th December 2021, while "What Wood Lincoln Do?" was aired on 14th December 2021 on Nicktoons HD CEE.
• "Baby Steps" returned to be shown on Nickelodeon Poland / Central and Eastern Europe starting April 19, 2022 and later re-ran on June 19, 2022 ^[7].

The following episodes have been aired as a part of Polish opt-out block on Nickelodeon CEE:

• "Overnight Success" was re-aired on July 5, 2022^[8].
• "Racing Hearts" was aired on July 6, 2022.^[9]
• "Kick the Bucket List" was re-aired on July 20, 2022^[10]
• "L Is for Love" was re-aired on July 22, 2022^[11]
• "ARGGH! You for Real? was re-aired on July 25, 2022^[12]
• "Health Kicked" was re-aired on July 26, 2022^[13]
• "Snow Way Down" was re-aired on July 29, 2022^[14]

In "Undercover Mom", Luna's line "My girlfriend Sam and I..." was changed to "My friend Sam and I..." to censor any references to their relationship.

• But in "A Loud House Christmas", Luna mentions that "Sam broke up with her...", suggesting that in Polish dubbing of the series they are treated as a couple.
  • This was eventually confirmed in "The Loud Cloud", as "This next song goes out to my girlfriend, Sam" line told by Luna was not changed at all, as it was translated as "The next song is about my girlfriend, Sam".

Trivia[]

• This dub, along with the Finnish dub, are the only dubs in which the main characters' full names are localized.
  • Also, almost all of the other characters except for some minor characters have localized their names. Some examples include:
    • McBride → Młodowski
    • Santiago → Maliniak
    • Casagrande → Wielkodomski/Wielkodomska
• The Loud siblings and Lincoln's friends (except Lola and Stella) have nicknames being a shorter version of their names, unlike the original version.
• In the original version, Lynn Sr. shares his name with Lynn, but in this dub, he shares his name (Henryk) with Lana (Henryka).
• Lincoln's Polish złoty in "Changing the Baby" is localized to a Japanese Yen.
• Mikołaj Klimek, Flip's, Bruno's and Trashy's voice actor, died from a heart attack on July 12, 2020, making the episode "Coupe Dreams" the last one where he voices Flip. He was credited in "House Flip", "Room and Hoard", "Coupe Dreams" and "Last Loud on Earth" posthumously, though.
  • Flip and Trashy were subsequently given a new voice actor in Season 5.
• Mieczysław Morański, Vito Filliponio and Norm's voice actor, died on COVID-19 on December 27, 2020.
• Miłogost Reczek, the Mall Cop Captain's and Kirby's voice actor and Albert's third voice actor, died of cancer on December 14, 2021.
  • Thus, Klimek, Morański and Reczek were the third, fourth and tenth international crew members of The Loud House to pass away.
• "Tricked!" was leaked on Nick.pl on April or May 2018 before its official premiere on May 11, 2018.
• The scene in "Stall Monitor" in which Lincoln's parents talk to Zach's parents was shown in "The Loud House & Casagrandes Hangin' at Home Special" (in this case, the scene was dubbed in Polish, despite the episode being banned on Nickelodeon).
  • However, the episode was dubbed into Polish as a clip was available on Nickelodeon Poland website.^[15]
    • Moreover, the episode premiered on August 10, 2022 on Nickelodeon Poland.
• A 5-minute version of "Purrfect Gig" was shown on the Nickelodeon Poland YouTube channel on April 28, 2022 as a part of a 30 minutes' compilation of the sweetest moments with pets.^[16]
  • However, the scene in which Luna kisses Sam on her cheek is cut.
    • The episode officially premiered on August 16, 2022 on Nickelodeon Poland.
• A 5-minute clip of "A Flipmas Carol" was released on the Nickelodeon Poland YouTube channel on December 7, 2022^[17]
• "Scoop Snoop" hasn't aired yet on Nickelodeon for unexplained reasons it's sister episode was aired instead.
• Episodes 1-137 with Polish dubbing appeared on Sky Showtime in Portugal back in December 2022. In Polish version of the service, the series premiered on February 14, 2023.
• "Vantastic Voyage" is the last episode ever aired on Nickelodeon HD CEE.
• Starting:
  • "Washed Up", Lynn Sr. is voiced by Mateusz Kwiecień, Grzegorz Kwiecień's younger brother.
  • "Candy Crushed", Lincoln is voiced by Kosma Press, who voices him in The Really Loud House, replacing Filip Rogowski due to his puberty.
  • "Master of Delusion", Clyde is voiced by Franciszek Kalinowski, who voices him in The Really Loud House, replacing Jakub Jankiewicz due to his puberty.

Errors[]

• Due to translation errors, Nikki was addressed as a boy in "City Slickers".
• In the episodes S2E3, S2E4, S2E5, S2E6, and S2E7 the theme song was left as an instrumental. This was probably a mistake, while creating the Polish dub for these episodes in mid-2016.
• Several websites mention the wrong titles of the episodes "A Star is Scorned" and "Senior Moment".
• Both episodes 101 and 114 were shown on Nickelodeon and Nicktoons HD CEE with audio out-of-sync with video.
  • However, the episodes with Polish dubbing were released with correct audio-video sync on Sky Showtime.
    • Starting February 1, 2023 Episode 101 is shown with correct audio-video sync on Polish audiotracks of Nickelodeon CEE and Nicktoons HD CEE, while Episode 114 is shown with correct synchro starting the end of 2023.
• In "A Pimple Plan", Benny's Polish name is Benjamin, despite it being Benedict in "Stage Plight."
• In "Homespun", during the montage of doorknobs breaking off, Lynn speaks with Lana's voice.
• In "Attention Deficit", Lincoln's line "I gotta say, getting some undivided attention is pretty sweet. And now, if you'll excuse me, I gotta give some undivided attention to my hammies." was shortened to "I gotta say, getting some undivided attention is pretty sweet. And now, if you'll excuse me...", leaving the final part of the line undubbed. This was fixed when the episode was aired on January 15, 2024 on Nickelodeon. Also for this scene, Kosma Press (recent Lincoln's voice actor) recorded the newer version of the dialogue line.
• All the episodes from Seasons 2-4 air in Nickelodeon and Nicktoons in a low pitch audio, instead of the original audio pitch. Moreover, starting July 2023 Seasons 1 and 12 episodes from Season 2 are shown with new PAL masters (speeding up the sound rate without changing pitch for 4,271%). The NTSC pitch masters in 24 frames per second were kept only for Sky Showtime and Netflix releases.
