Ash Kecha Wacha is a Fanged Beast and a Subspecies of Kecha Wacha introduced in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate.
Physiology
In contrast to the bright orange pelt of the normal species, it has a washed blueish fur with black coloration on the hands, feet and head. The mask on its ears has a yellow-orange pattern on a dark background.
Abilities
This subspecies seems to be able to spit flaming projectiles at its foes, rather than the watery globules of its common counterpart.
Habitat
Ash Kecha Wacha can be found at the Ancestral Steppe, Everwood and Primal Forest.

Notes
General Notes
- During the localization process, the translation team decided to name Kecha Wacha's subspecies in a way that encapsulated both its coloration and its Fire Element.
- Candidates for the English name included Argent Kecha Wacha and Ember Kecha Wacha.[1]
- Ash Kecha Wacha was voted 215th place in the Hunters' Choice for Top Monster during Monster Hunter's 20th Anniversary.[2]
- Ash Kecha Wacha folds its face with its ears all the time, and attacks on its head will be deflected even with Purple Sharpness.
- When attacking when not enraged, the ears will open, exposng its face to strike. When enraged, Ash Kecha Wacha's ears will remain folded even when it is attacking.
- Ash Kecha Wacha's roar requires Earplugs to block.

- Opposing Ash Kecha Wachas turn to Speed attacks when enraged.
- The skill can last until its not enraged, thus still immune to Flash Bombs even with its eyes exposed.
