Calculates each stat bonus independently. 【Treachery】 Unit deals additional damage = total bonuses on unit for 1 turn. 【Grand Strategy】 Grants bonus to Atk/Spd/Def/Res during combat = current penalty on each of unit's stats × 2 for 1 turn. (Example: if unit has -7 penalty to Atk, grants Atk+14, for a net bonus of Atk+7.) Calculates each stat bonus independently. Unit's negative effects that last "through unit's next action" will remain in effect until this status (Grand Strategy) is neutralized.

Notes[ | ]

• The stat decrease that can be applied by Atk/Res Ploy is considered a  Penalty.
  • Any 【Penalty】 on a unit lasts until that unit takes an action. If the unit takes multiple actions in a turn, they will only have  Penalties for their first action.
    • If the unit also has  Grand Strategy, any  Penalties will remain active until the start of that unit's next phase.
• Atk/Res Ploy applies the  Ploy status effect.
  • Any 【Penalty】 on a unit lasts until that unit takes an action. If the unit takes multiple actions in a turn, they will only have  Ploy for their first action.
  •  Ploy neutralizes the temporary buffs granted by  Bonus Doubler and  Grand Strategy, and the damage boosting effect of  Treachery only during combat.
    • Temporary buffs granted by  Bonus Doubler and  Grand Strategy are neutralized by inflicting temporary debuffs of the same amount during combat.
    • Since units inflicted with  Ploy will still have these status effects, skills that require a 【Bonus】 to trigger such as  Atk/Spd Prime 4 or  Gainful Bow+ will still trigger.
    • If the affected unit does not have these status effects,  Ploy has no effect, but can still be used to trigger skills that require a 【Penalty】 such as  Atk/Spd Catch 4 and  Gainful Bow+.
• Atk/Res Ploy applies the  Exposure status effect.
  • Any 【Penalty】 on a unit lasts until that unit takes an action. If the unit takes multiple actions in a turn, they will only have  Exposure for their first action.

• The damage boosting effect is a flat +10 damage that ignores the foe's Def or Res when calculating the damage boost, and can be reduced by damage reduction effects such as  Gust,  Atk/Spd Excel, and  Dodge.
  • A foe equipped with  Embla's Ward,  Múspellflame,  Niðavellir Axiom,  Gold Perfection, or  Nine-Realm Pact will neutralize all sources of damage except from Røkkr area-of-effect Specials and the minimum 1 damage from Umbra Burst weapons.

• Stat comparison takes place after all  Bonuses on allies are removed, and before any new bonuses or  Penalties are applied. Other existing bonuses and penalties on both units count towards their respective stats during stat comparison.
