Meet your new worst nightmare. Rain D. may have been annoying with all his knockbacks, but Midnite D. makes those knockbacks terrifying, with a Shield that regenerates for each and every one of them, able to provide up to another 1,600,000 health, equaling a nightmarish total of 1.9 million health. The Shield is relatively weak when compared to others, but the effect builds up due to how many times it could potentially regenerate, each time possibly blocking a devastating hit that would have marked his demise, or stopping a negative effect from being applied, or allowing Midnite D. to attack without being interrupted. And all of that, for just a single Midnite D. Otherwise, he behaves in much the same way as Rain D, being a strong pusher which can easily overwhelm defenses if supported by dangerous peons or other pushers like Fallen Bear or R.Ost.
Strategy[]
Normally, Shield Piercing Cats would be the best answer to a Shield, but enough brute force can also overwhelm him through sheer weight of fire, though this may take quite a while due to its relative ease in repositioning and tanking hard hits with its multiple regenerating shields. Due to its relatively low hp but high kb count the best solution to dealing with it quickly is by either using weaker units to pierce its shield and timing hard hitting cats like Awakened Bahamut Cat to hit it dealing a large chunk of its health, or another preferable solution is using units who have a guaranteed/high shield piercing chance and high damage to hit it hard such as Supercar Cat.
