Lione Hippoe is faster than the original Hippoe and has more health, attack power and range, enough to reach Bird Cat. It attacks almost four times as fast as Hippoe.
Strategy[]
Similar to its normal counterpart, Lione Hippoe can be a very strong enemy in its early encounters. Stalling with meatshields can work but beware of its fast attack rate as it can chew through your meatshields if not properly managed. Ranged attackers can stay behind the meatshields to chip away at its health pool. Due to its fast attack rate, decent damage and high DPS, some melee attackers are not an ideal choice to deal with this especially if its heavily buffed or in large groups.
In other event stages, such as Total War: Winter Special, Lionel Hippoe may be spawned in large numbers and are also buffed to the extend that meatshielding may not be enough to stall them, forcing you to quickly make a stack of ranged attackers (Cameraman, Paris, etc.) before they advance further.

Lione Hippoe's Japanese name, Shishi Kababū (獅子カバブー), may be a pun combining shishi (獅子, "lion") and shishi kababu (シシカバブ), meaning "shish kebab"; the joke is that it also contains the word kaba (カバ), meaning "hippo".
