Much like the original, Fallen Bear attacks relatively fast from a medium distance, and what he lacks in health he more than makes up for in damage per hit—the equivalent of a 300%Cadaver Bear when unbuffed—as well as bearing a decently strong Shield to cover his low health pool. As the icing on the cake, he has a 100% chance to create a level 1 Surge Attack when he dies, with a spawn area designed specifically to wipe out your most valuable backliners, allowing other pushers like R.Ost to push. The only silver lining is that he has slightly lower range than other bears, enough for Sexy Legs Cat and Paris Cat to safely hit him.
Strategy[]
There are two ways to greatly speed up Fallen Bear's downfall. One involves using a Shield Piercing Cat (e.g. Aku Researcher), who will, therefore, remove a massive chunk of health that would otherwise need damage to be broken, thus having effectively the same impact as a massively powerful attack. Another way involves the exploitation of this enemy's own, low health pool behind the Shield. This means you can realistically pierce the Shield, then hit Fallen Bear hard enough to kill him immediately, or to, at least, skip a knockback, preventing him from gaining a massive health boost (for example, you can slip in an Awakened Bahamut right after an attack, which will kill a 100% Fallen Bear instantly).
An elite ambassador of the Aku Realms. With a firm handshake and a beaming smile, his physical bargaining is beyond reproach. If things go sour... an atomic drop also works.
An elite diplomat who is active in the Devil World. His powerful handshakes and physical bargaining techniques exchanged with a smile are extremely potent. His favorite finishing move in sumo wrestling is the "akumadashinage" ["pulling devil throw"].

Trivia[]
His Japanese name, Akkuma Kakka (アックマ閣下, "His Excellency Akkuma"), combines the Japanese name of the Aku trait (悪魔 Akuma, which means "Devil") with the word for bear (熊 kuma).
It may also be a reference to the Japanese musician, songwriter, entertainer, journalist, sumo commentator, actor and voice actor Demon Kakka. This is supported by how his Japanese description mentions sumo wrestling and how it's specifically his head that is engulfed in darkness, which is similar to how Demon Kakka always wears face paint. And much like what's given in Teacher Bear's English description, Demon Kakka's real name is not known to the general public.
Fallen Bear also appears in the stage Century's End, whose name heavily references the band Seikima-II led by Demon Kakka.
The atomic drop is a professional wrestling move in which the the wrestler goes behind an opponent, then puts their head under the opponent's shoulder. They then lift their opponent up, and drop them tailbone-first on the wrestler's knee.
The made-up kimarite (sumo finishing move) in his Japanese description, akumadashinage (悪魔出し投げ, "pulling devil throw"), is a pun on the moves shitatedashinage (下手出し投げ, "pulling overam throw") and uwatedashinage (上手出し投げ, "pulling underarm throw").
According to Fallen Bear Cat's description, Fallen Bear has his own horror movie, titled House of the Fallen Bear.
The Japanese name of House of the Fallen Bear, Akkuma no Sumu Ie (アックマの棲む家, "The House in Which Akkuma Dwells"), is a pun on Akuma no Sumu Ie (悪魔の棲む家, "The House in Which Devils Dwell"), the Japanese name of the horror movie The Amityville Horror.
He is currently the only Aku enemy to have both Death Surge and Shield abilities.
