The Black variant of Dark Emperor Nyandam. He has 200 more range, increased attack power and health, and a faster attack rate. His very high range makes it difficult for the likes of Pizza Cat or Bombercat to get an attack off.
Due to his high damage even at 100% strength magnification, he can usually destroy an entire stack of cats in a single hit, sometimes even your Ubers. This makes him a formidable threat if you aren't able to knock him back in time or push too far into his range, leaving you to rebuild the stack you just created, which is risky as it may allow other dangerous units to push, like Bun Bun Black and R.Ost.
Strategy[]
Kurosawah is similar to the original Nyandam with his long attack animation, but his massive range invalidates almost all other units because he'll just delete them in one hit. His long attack animation can be exploited by any effect that causes enemies to flinch, such as knockback, the default Cat Cannon, Sniper and his unit equivalent. Bombercat can essentially stun-lock him, but much like all other Black backliners, it can be difficult to find an opening.
Rushers and strong melee units like Awakened Bahamut Cat, Can Can, Jamiera, talented Heavy Assault C.A.T, and Sanada Yukimura can be particularly effective against Kurosawah if there are no enemies in the way. They can easily reach and deal fairly significant damage to him, but this can be inconsistent, as he often appears backing frontline melee threats. Wave units don't have to wander into his range in order to hit him, though for consistency their wave level needs to be at or exceed 3, and preferably should not be able to push into Kurosawah's range, or the stack may be wiped.
