She wears a pair of red glasses, yellowish white gloves on both her hands, a yellow shirt with dinosaur skeletons on it, a pair of brown khaki pants that's held by a black belt with a silver buckle, and a pair of purple grey boots.
Personality
Dr. Jan can be described as friendly, nerdy and energetic. She is interested in cryptids and UFOs. She is even aware that some scientists in the science community are loose cannons and crazy.
Background
Dr. Jan is the curator of the Museum of Natural History, she had become obsessed with cryptids and UFOs and dig up of dinosaur bones. One day when she lost focus, she accidentally got a Triceratops skeleton destroyed. At some point, a vase with a frog bestowing the Calamity Box to three Vikings arrived in the museum and was put on display; Dr. Jan was unable to figure out what the images meant.
In "Fight at the Museum", she met Anne Boonchuy and the Plantar Family who were looking at the vase, Sprig was fixing to ask her a question about interdimensional travel, but Anne cut him off. Dr. Jan took off and then told them howler her name if they need anything. That night, Dr. Jan was contacted by her guards about a break in at the Museum. When Dr. Jan and the guards walk in, she spotted Anne about to be executed by the Cloak-Bot, but Cloak-Bot retreated because it isn't supposed to be seen by other humans. Seeing the Plantars, Dr. Jan cover for them, distract the Guards and told them it was an act. Anne and the Plantars explain their story and after hearing it, she decides to help them and asks Anne to get some sleep, but before Anne and the Plantars leave, Anne asks her if she can find a secret message on the vase.
Th next day, Dr. Jan took out a Blacklight and to her surprised, there is some writing on the vase.
In "Temple Frogs", Dr. Jan texted Anne and informed her she found a message on the vase and ask them to meet her at the museum. Unfortunately, Anne and the Plantars had to go to the Thai Community, Anne later called her and ask if she could meet her and the Plantars at the temple. Dr. Jan shows up with the vase, using Marcy's notebook the message translates: "Seek the mother of Olms and she will lead you to your destiny." Except they don't know what it means.
Dr. Jan then became a new friend and ally to Anne and the Plantars and promise to help them find clues and artifacts that could help them get back to Amphibia.
In "If You Give a Frog a Cookie", she called Anne and inform her that a scientist named Dr. Frakes believes she found a gateway to other dimensions. However, Dr. Jan warns Anne that some people in the science community can be crazy and she needs to get more info on Dr. Frakes. Unfortunately, the Plantars' homesickness causes Anne and them to go there.
In "Froggy Little Christmas", Dr. Jan was still working at the museum, when Anne and the Plantars came by, she allowed Anne to take some of the exhibits to be part of the Thai Go Float, she was making for the Christmas-Palooza Parade. At the same time, the Plantars started asking her about Christmas. She explains the history of Christmas to them, then is cut off when she spotted some kids fooling with the T-Rex exhibit.
In "Escape to Amphibia", Dr. Jan and Terri have been working on a portal to get the Plantars back to Amphibia, she used her car to power it up, but had to shut it down, as Anne, her parents, and the Plantars set out to get some supplies. However, Mr. X and the FBI captured the Plantars, so Anne and her parents gathered Dr. Jan, Terri, Ally, Jess, Molly Jo, Humphrey Westwood, and two women from the Thai Community to rescue the Plantars. While Anne, her parents and their friends save the Plantars, she and Terri stole a generator to power the portal which caused a blackout and freed their friends. After rescuing the Plantars, Terri and Dr. Jan used the generator to power up the portal, but it's not big enough and Mr. X and the FBI arrived to capture them. Luckily, Anne taps into her Calamity Box powers to power up the portal to summon a giant mantis to hold off the FBI.
Anne and the Plantars were able to escape through the portal, but the FBI subdue the giant mantis and destroy the portal.
In "All In", during King Andrias and the Core's invasion, Dr. Jan and Terri took down some Frobots with her van while rescuing some civilians. She and Terri later witness Anne's battle against Andrias and cheer alongside Molly Jo, Ally, Jess, and Humphrey after Anne defeated Andrias.
