Bernardo

Bernardo is a minor character of Amphibia. He is the best armorer of Newtopia, who designed Marcy's Newtopian ranger suit, and was later hired by her to give Anne a new look.

Body[]

Bernardo is a medium-sized pink newt with violet spots, a slender build, light pink belly, and dark gray hair standing upright and combed forward with a ponytail in the back. His eyes are bright yellow with brown pupils.

Clothing[]

His clothing consists of a white coat with golden shoulder pads with two pearls on top, round double cuffs at the end of the sleeves, with a dark gray undershirt from which part of his sleeve protrudes below the cuffs of the coat, a light green scarf, light gray pants, white shoes, and a light green bowtie in his ponytail.

Personality[]

Bernardo is very extravagant, hard to please, and likes everything that is in fashion.

Background[]

Bernardo is a famous armorer in all of Newtopia, even being considered the best.^[1] When Marcy arrived in Newtopia, he was in charge of designing her Newtopian ranger suit.^[2] He also provided galoshes and disinfectant for Marcy and her Night Guard teammates when they were tracking the Order of the Olm cult in the Newtopian sewers.

Sometime later, Marcy hires Bernardo to give Anne a new look to go to the Third Temple. Upon arriving at the Plantar Farm, Bernardo starts trying on different outfits on Anne with his assistant and Sprig, but Anne is not entirely comfortable with the outfits. After a series of events with Bessie and MicroAngelo, Anne ends up with the chest plate of one of the armors Bernardo was trying on for her, and finds herself satisfied with it, with Bernardo approving of her 'minimalist' look.^[1]
