Trivia
- The events of this season are not always in chronological order. For example, Hop Pop states that the mountain passes would clear in "one week" in "Trip to the Archives", while he states that it would be "a few weeks" in "A Night at the Inn", meaning that this season of this world takes place in the winter.
- This is the only season in which Marcy neither speaks nor is shown in the present time. Her only physical appearances are in flashbacks in the opening and "Best Fronds". Aside from those, she is only mentioned or pictured.
- This season's first half is the only half of a season in which the credits sequence remains constant.
- This is the only season in which Newtopia does not physically appear. It is pictured only in "Fiddle Me This" and mentioned only in the said episode and "Combat Camp".
- This is also the only season to not depict Earth in the present. However, it is shown in flashbacks and pictures.
- Alternatively, this is the only season to physically depict the South Tower, excluding flashbacks in "Handy Anne" and "True Colors", a picture of it in "The Ballad of Hopediah Plantar", and its appearance in the series finale's credits sequence.
- Most of the episode screenshots and video footage in promos were taken from the first half of the season, as well as "Grubhog Day"/"Hop Pop and Lock" and "Reunion".
- The midseason finale, "Toad Tax"/"Prison Break", had the most U.S. viewers of the entire season, with 0.50 millions watchers on its premiere.[15]
- By contrast, the season finale, "Reunion", had the least U.S. viewers of the season, with 0.34 millions watchers on its premiere.[28]
- This is the only season to have episodes premiere on weekdays.
- This is the only season to have episodes animated by Sunmin Image Pictures.
- By the time Anne and Mayor Toadstool's feud ended in "Anne of the Year", it took a whole season for every citizen of Wartwood to get used to her.
Production information
- Two episodes were aired out of production order; episode 1 was produced after episode 3, and episode 4 was produced after episode 7.
- Due to this, the first seven episodes air out of order on Disney XD, as the network airs episodes in production order.
- "Best Fronds" was the first episode produced, while "Anne or Beast?" was the first episode in airing order.
- The former episode was based on the unaired pilot.[29]
- Joe Sparrow finished his work on Season 1 on October 10, 2018.[30]

- ↑ Braly, Matt (June 30, 2019). "02 - Best Fronds" (Post). Tumblr. Amphibi-crew Tumblr blog. “Here’s an interesting bit of trivia: “Best Fronds” is actually an adjusted version of Amphibia’s original pilot. After establishing that Anne was stuck in this crazy new world with “Anne or Beast,” it was up to “Best Fronds” to establish the core relationship between Anne and Sprig. Not only that but it teases some pretty cool things to come at the end. I especially like how naturally Sprig and Anne grow closer in this episode, culminating in a pretty big disagreement.”
