The Frobot invasion fleet or the Core's military invasion force was a group of flying fortresses, Frobots and mind controlled creatures from Amphibia commanded by the Core at Newtopia Castle. It is the main role for King Andrias' plan to invade Earth starting in Los Angeles, California, USA.
Background[]
Weeks after Anne Boonchuy and the Plantars escaped to Los Angeles, the king of Amphibia Andrias Leviathan had reduced his kingdom into a bleak wasteland all for the effort of building an invasion force powerful enough to conquer Earth.
During late winter, construction was nearly complete. King Andrias is given a remote control moth-like drone made by the Triple B to send to Earth so that he can find and kill Anne for good.
When Anne and the Plantars eventfully return they are shocked to see that Amphibia is in shambles as King Andrias' fleet floats in the distance.
The Wartwood Resistance that was founded by a reformed Sasha Waybright caused major blows to Andrias' various operations, which hindered the invasion plan greatly, but it was only after the rebel leaders were able to round up more recruits (the olms of Proteus, Captain Beatrix and the remnants of the Toad Army, Apothecary Gary and the citizens of Gardenton, Tritonio Espada and the Merry Band, and Domino 2 and her flock of kill-a-moths) that they were finally able to attack the fleet directly.
Anne and Sasha have a talk over their bad relationship with Marcy in that despite her actions, they feel that they are to blame for her tricking them into sending them to Amphibia. The whole rebellion attacks Andrias' forces while Anne, Sasha, Grime and the Plantars sneak inside to get the music box. After freeing a mind-controlled Olivia and Yunan, they fall into a trap by Darcy who plans to kill Anne, but Anne exploits the fact that they are both clueless about the box and they decide to keep her alive for dissection. Darcy and Andrias enact their plan as they open a portal to Los Angeles.
Using Frobo, the group escapes the castle as Andrias and Darcy begin their attack. They regroup with Mr. X and the Boonchuys, who've been preparing for the invasion. The team breaks into two groups. Anne's group, comprising of the Plantars, her parents, and their human allies, focus on protecting civilians from the invasion. Meanwhile, Sasha's group, comprising of Grime, Olivia, and Yunan, go after the castle's shield generator and attempt to rescue Marcy from The Core. The Plantars encounter the herons that killed Sprig and Polly's parents. They eventually breaking their collars and use the Plantar family dance to tame them. Sasha and Grime battle Darcy in the shield generator room, with Grime losing his arm in the process. Andrias, on The Core's orders to capture Anne, challenges her to a duel in his mecha suit, promising to call off the invasion if she wins. Anne accepts and battles, but she is outlasted by Andrias. After learning from Mr. X that the letter has a message for Andrias, Sprig reads it to him. On it, Leif apologizes for her actions and tells Andrias to keep his heart open to friends while reaffirming her love for him. Andrias breaks down upon hearing her words. Darcy tries to control Andrias, but Sasha severs The Core's connection, freeing Marcy from The Core's control. With the remaining strength of her power, Anne destroys Andrias' suit, whereupon Andrias reveals that his longevity is due to cybernetic parts. Anne and Sasha reunite with Marcy before returning to Amphibia to claim victory. As the coalition celebrates, what's left of The Core sneaks away and the group finds that the moon is about to crash into Amphibia.
Yet, Anne, Sasha, and Marcy would obtain their full Calamity powers and battle the Core's army with the help of some Frobots. Despite the Core overpowering Sasha and Marcy and destroying the remaining Frobots, Anne ultimately managed to destroy the Core, using the full powers of the Calamity gems. After the Core's destruction and with the invasion thwarted, Anne, Sasha, and Marcy say goodbye to all their friends and return to Earth, using shards of the Calamity Gems before the Calamity Box disintegrates into ashes. With the Frobot invasion destroyed, the Amphibians restore their homes, destroying the fleet's factories and leaving the fleet's Frobots inactive.
