Granya Marcil is the secondary antagonist of the two-part Law & Order: Special Victims Unit episode "Can't Be Held Accountable" and "Must Be Held Accountable". She the girlfriend of wealthy pedophile and rapist, Steve Getz, working as a talent scout for his modeling agency. She scouts young girls for his modeling agency and brings them to Steve for him to rape and traffic.
She was portrayed by Bree Turner.
Biography[]
Granya Marcil is the girlfriend of Steve Getz and aids in his his trafficking business, bringing him young girls for him to rape and traffic. She sees teenager, Ivy Bucci out one day with her dog and offers her the opportunity to audition for Steve Getz's modeling business. Ivy accepts and later meets Steve Getz, who grooms her and later rapes her. Granya tells Ivy to bring her younger sister Milly to one of Getz's other parties, which results in Milly nearly getting raped.
SVU investigates Steve and Granya's crimes and Detective Tamin goes undercover as Ivy and Milly's aunt and confronted Granya about what was going on. Granya offered her $10,000 to keep quite and stay away from Getz, however Tamin refused. Both Steve and Granya were arrested for their crimes and sent to stand trial, however both were acquitted, sending Detective Frank Bucci, the father of Ivy and Milly, into a rage.
Steve Getz holds a party on his yacht, inviting Granya, along with Ivy, Milly, and their mother, Donna, Granya acting conceited towards Detective Benson and Detective Tutuola. After Frank Bucci kidnaps Detective Rollins, demanding Getz be charged, SVU took Ivy, Milly, and Donna in for questioning, Granya taunting Tamin by saying that she missed a good party. The detectives learn that Judge Joe Ellery had been blackmailed into dropping the charges against Steve Getz, which results in both Steve and Granya being arrested while boarding a jet plane. Granya is imprisoned for her actions.
Personality[]
Granya is a smug, conceited, manipulative, and remorseless individual, throwing taunts at the detectives and helping Steve Getz to sexually abuse numerous young girls. She willingly brings girls to Getz, knowing they will be raped and abused and shows no remorse for her horrific actions.
