4-F shares the basic Cyber Spacestage theme of being based on the specific depiction of Chemical Plant from the console/PC version of Sonic Generations. Having similar aesthetic elements seen in previous stages, the stage features rapid, blue digitized sparks being spotted on the screen during the gameplay to represent the digitized atmosphere.
Portal location[]
The entrance Portal to the Cyber Space stage is located in the western side of Ouranos Island, with several yellow platforms directly behind it. It requires two Portal Gears for this Portal to connect to Cyber Space.
Gameplay[]
4-F is a straightforward and short stage almost entirely going downhill, with large loops and many paths made from floating platforms. During this level, Sonic will be racing against a Hologram Tails and beating it will reward him with a Lookout Koco. There are no Star Posts present in this stage.
After passing through or going over the two large loops and going downhill, the player must look to the right for a series of small platforms while going downhill.
Number Ring 5 can be found after using a pulley about halfway down the path.
Number Ring 4 can be found further down to the right.
Number Ring 2 can be found to the right of Number Ring 4, higher up. The player can use the platformer where Number Ring 4 is to reach it.
Number Ring 1 can be found far to the left of Number Ring 2, requiring a Boost or Spin Dash to reach.
Silver Moon Rings[]
The platform with the final Number Ring has a Dash Ring that will launch Sonic to some platforms. Take the spring on the right and then the middle grind rail to a series of platforms floating over the main path. Three of the Silver Moon Rings will be on the pillars directly in front of the player, and the final two are above balloons. The final balloon can only be reached with an Air Boost and Homing Attack.
Animals[]
Near the start of the level, the player must use the Dash Rings to get on top of the roofed path, where a Pocky is. The drop-off zone is located just down the roof on a raised floating platform. Sonic can use the platforms on either side to reach it, taking care to avoid the Egg Springs.
Dropping down after the final Silver Moon Ring, the player will come up to an area with cubes covered with Egg Springs. On the right hand side, a Rocky will be waiting. The drop-off zone is on the raised platform directly in front of Sonic, which must be climbed up to, taking care to avoid the springs.
Immediately following the second Animal, take the lower rails on the right or left to the lower area, where a Cucky is. The drop-off zone is on a floating platform directly above the middle of the area. The player must take care to avoid the Egg Springs or Dash Panels.
