Boophone Geigi (刺眼花艺伎; pinyin: cìyǎnhuā yìjì) is a plant in the Chinese version of Plants vs. Zombies 2 for the second part of Heian Age. She was introduced in the 2.6.4 update. She throws her fan at zombies down her lane, damaging the first zombie it encounters.

When a zombie is hit by Boophone Geigi's fan, the fan will return to Boophone Geigi in an arc, alternating between the arc going through the top adjacent lane, then the bottom adjacent lane.

Origins[]

Boophone Geigi is based on the century plant (Boophone disticha), also more commonly known as the poison bulb or sore-eye flower, a flowering bulbous plant native to Africa that has been historically used for its poisonous properties.

Boophone Geigi's name and appearance are based on Japanese geisha performers, entertainers trained in the traditional Japanese performing arts.

Plant Food effect[]

Boophone Geigi's Plant Food ability makes her throw a flaming fan rapidly down her lane. This flaming fan deals heavy damage to the first zombie it encounters as well as knocking them back. The fan will also split in half, returning to Boophone Geigi in two arches that that attack the top and bottom adjacent lanes simultaneously.

Costume[]

Boophone Geigi's costumed effect creates an additional fan to pierce through all zombies down the lane, on top of its normal effect.

	Cell Activation 细胞活化	Boophone Geigi gains another 50% more attack power and health (200% of initial).

	Fighting Power 战斗能力	Boophone Geigi gains another 50% more attack power and health (250% of initial).
	Swallow Dance 燕舞	When the flower fan is spinning back, the penetration damage is increased to 900. 花扇在回旋返回的过程中，穿透伤害提升至900。

Strategies[]

This plant can be used as a decent attacker for a hordes of zombies that are on other lanes of this plant's top and bottom lane. Be careful in Wild West and Frostbite Caves since her fan can't hit chickens and weasels.

However She's outclassed by a Eggplant Ninja this plant can pierce through zombies on its own lane and can attack other lanes without needing zombie in its own lane, that makes it more better than the Boophone Geigi.
