Electric Tailgrape (电击鹰爪花; pinyin: Diàn​jī Yīngzhǎohuā) is a plant in the Chinese version of Plants vs. Zombies 2 introduced in the 3.4.6 update alongside the Speed Racing Secret Realm, Gloom Vine, and Dragon Bruit.

Electric Tailgrape condenses balls of lightning and lobs them above zombies' heads before needing to 8 seconds recharge, the lightning balls emit continuous lightning strikes that shock zombies walking underneath them. When the zombie leaves the attack range of the lightning ball or dies, the lightning ball will re-select a new target to attack.

Origins[]

Electric Tailgrape is based on the climbing ylang-ylang (Artabotrys hexapetalus), also called the ylang-ylang vine or tail grape, a species of shrub found throughout Southern and Eastern Asia.

Plant Food effect[]

When fed Plant Food, Electric Tailgrape will throw a large ball of lightning that continuously damages zombies in a 3x3 area.

Costumed[]

If Electric Tailgrape is wearing its costume, the huge lightning ball will also be able to stun zombies.
