The Bamcupine is a miniboss pufferpop in Pikmin 2... Again?. It is a relative of the Dwarf Pufferspine and Bloater Pufferspine, being a pufferfish-like creature, having two fins it uses as legs, a fish-like tail, with twenty spikes protruding from pores all over its body like the Porquillion, and a gaping mouth. To attack, the Bamcupine will inflate its body, sending its spikes flying in all directions at Pikmin and leaders. The spikes fired closest to the ground will fly in a straight line, but the rest will travel in an arc. Any Pikmin hit by the spikes will be impaled and die. After its attack, it'll try to flee until it regains its spikes. Once defeated, it'll deflate like a balloon.
