Biography[]
Veris Hydan was a trusted advisor of Emperor Palpatine. He had deep interest for the history of the Force, Sith, Jedi, etc. In 0 BBY, Hydan was sent to the planet Lothal to inspect symbols of the Jedi Temple there. He informed the Emperor that the way to open the temple was through the Mortis gods, The Father, The Daughter, and the Son. He encountered rebels Sabine Wren and Ezra Bridger attempting to break into the World Between Worlds. He captured Sabine, but failed to capture Ezra as he jumped into the portal to the World Between Worlds. Later, Hydan forced Sabine Wren to help him investigate the changes of the symbols of the Ones. As Hydan was about to learn the mystery, rebels Hera Syndulla and Zeb Orellios managed to flip down the room of Hydan, forcing them to all fall out. Ezra Bridger managed to cause the Temple to collapse on itself, and Hydan fell to his death in the chasm below.
Personality[]
Despite not knowing how to use the Force, Hydan is into Jedi and Sith history and lore, and is especially into the Force. He prefers to call himself not an artist, but rather a critic. He was also a philosophical man who preferred to use words and flattery rather than force when questioning Sabine. He is also seen to be very loyal to Emperor Palpatine.
