Crow was questioned and tried to point the finger at other dealers in the neighborhood. In the meantime, he cut the throat of his affiliate, Antonio "Sweetness" Strada, killing him to silence him. Elias eventually revealed his motives for the shooting, afraid to be killed by Crow and only knowing his street name. When the suspects were narrowed down Elias wore a mask to walk with police to the three suspects and identify them by their voices. He was to squeeze Detective Elliot Stabler's hand when he heard who Machete was, and he did so for Crow. Crow was arrested, even in spite of trying to bribe the detectives.
