The Joker is a supporting antagonist in the Tomorrowverse, serving as a major antagonist in the 2021 two-parter animated duology of Batman: The Long Halloween and a minor antagonist in the 2024 three-parter animated trilogy Justice League: Crisis On Infinite Earths.
He is a dangerous serial killer and the archenemy of Batman. During the Long Halloween, the Joker escapes from Arkham Asylum to find and kill the enigmatic new serial killer named Holiday, to prevent the mysterious killer from stealing the spotlight from himself.
He was voiced by Troy Baker, who also voiced him in the Arkhamverse, Shinnok in Mortal Kombat, Gul'dan in World of Warcraft, Kul Teska in Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes, Van Kleiss in Generator Rex and Simon Krieger in Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
In General[]
- He, like all of the other versions of The Joker, despite being clearly and clinically insane, he still possesses a clear moral agency, as he knows what he is doing, he is aware that is what he is doing is wrong, he knows the difference between right and wrong, he understands the morality of heroes such as his arch nemesis Batman, and other heroes like Superman and Wonder Woman, and he is aware of his actions proven how he shows great intelligence.
- While like other versions of The Joker, he has a lot of comedic moments where he makes a lot of jokes that are so funny the audience can't help but laugh at, but his sense of humor does not brighten the mood because his humor his based around dark comedy, meaning he is still taken deadly seriously in-universe.
- He, like many other versions Joker, claim to have the tragic backstory of him being a broken family man with a failed career, and even if it was real, he surpassed that tragedy a long time ago.
Batman: The Long Halloween[]
- He has fought Batman before and probably killed hundreds of people and committed other crimes before going to Arkham Asylum.
- He blackmailed a security guard into letting him escape Arkham by threatening to kill his kid.
- After escaping, he terrorizes three random families just because they happened to share the last name of D.A. Harvey Dent, whom he suspected might be Holiday.
- He tried to kill Harvey Dent, whom he suspected of being Holiday, only out of jealousy, and he threatened to kill or hurt Gilda.
- He massacred the Maroni family staff, only leaving Sal Maroni alive to bear witness and serve as a reminder that this was his “turf”.
- He massacred a pilot crew and stole their plane.
- He ultimately attempted to gas half of Gotham City during New Year’s Eve just for a chance of killing Holiday, and he admits to Batman that even if he failed, at least he would get to kill countless innocent people.
- He worked with Two-Face so he could kill Batman and Carmine Falcone.
Justice League: Crisis On Infinite Earths - Part Two[]
- He poisons Jim Gordon with his Joker Venom in order to use him as a diversion for the Guards and Batman. After he is caught, Gordon succumbs to the Venom and dies, before Batman could use an anti-venom on him.
- He used a tank in an attempt to destroy the Earth-1 universal tuning tower. Batman tries to explain that the universe would be doomed without the tower, but the Joker dismisses it by saying he doesn’t know that until he destroys the tower.
Justice League: Crisis On Infinite Earths - Part Three[]
- While he did not attack anyone when the the ship with the others, it is because he knew is surrounded by many superpowers being and knew he would not stand a chance so this is only a cooling-off moment
- When supergirl died, Joker is the only one who smiled at her death.
- When Joker first noticed the Miracle Machine, he attmepted to make a wish that gives them infinite of more wishes to cause more chaos.
- Joker used the Miracle Machine to escape the end of reality and avoids punishment for his crimes. Making him a Karma Houdini.
