“ | Ladies and gentlemen, we interrupt your regularly scheduled program, to bring you something truly special, a new auction. Introducing... Mr. Sam Winchester! | „ |
~ Clegg brodcasting another auction after capturing Sam. |
“ | Clegg: See, those freaks that you and your brother chase, those are just the ones that can't pass, either because they're too mean or they're too stupid, or both. But most monsters, hell, they could be your next door neighbor. They work a regular job, mow the lawns on a Saturday. And they need to eat, which is where I come in. Sam: So you sell them people. Clegg: I sell them people other people won't miss. And because I do that, I save lives. If my customers didn't have me, then all those hungry, hungry hippos would be out there hurtin' and killin'. And you couldn't stop them. No one could. You should be thanking me. Sam: Yeah. All right. Go to hell. Clegg: I'll see you there. |

Terrance Clegg is the main antagonist of the Supernatural episode "Breakdown".
He is an FBI agent who at some point in his life discovered that there exist monsters. He decided to become their food delivery partner by selling organs from random travelers who he kidnapped.
He was portrayed by Chris William Martin.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- Terrance has been kidnapping, torturing, mutilating, and killing people for the past 12 years so he can use their body parts to auction to monsters on the dark web so he can get paid.
- He usually carves them up in a live brodcast, and does it slowly so the victim can feel it.
- He has his subordinates, Marlon and The Harvester, help him. Marlon usually finds the victims, and the Harvester kidnaps them.
- He kidnaps Donna Hascum's niece, Wendy, who only just graduated high school, leaving Donna in emotional distraught.
- Terrance seems to know this, as thanks to being an FBI agent, he has the profile of everyone he's ever killed, including a family man.
- He tries to frame a road preacher named Hankey for the kidnapping of Wendy and another victim, Luis Fernando.
- While pretending to help Dean, Sam, and Donna find Wendy and stop the Butterfly, Terrance is actually luring them into a trap.
- Alone, Terrance knocks out Sam, kidnaps him, and straps him into a chair, attempting to auction Sam out, particularly by carving out his heart and selling it.
- While he claims to do this in order to prevent monsters from attacking humans, by supplying them with food, these "beliefs" are just excuses. Even then, there was no need to torture them if he was just gonna end up killing them anyway. The only reason Terrance does this is for his greed and sadism.
- He doesn't care for his henchmen, not reacting at all when Marlon or the Harvester are killed.
- Despite the extremely high heinous standards of Supernatural, he stands out as he is only a human with minimal resources yet managed to commit gruesome torture and mutilation for at least 12 years for the purpose of selling organs to monsters.
Trivia[]
- He is one of two Pure Evils in Season 13, alongside Michael.
- He also has the least screen time out of any Pure Evil in Supernatural.
