Multiverse Discovered
"He discovered that there were universes stacked on top of his own..."
The subject of this article comes from an alternate universe connecting to the main timeline of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

"Ma'am, I know how hard it is to turn your back on everything you've believed in. But the TVA has to change, and it has to start now."
―Hunter B-15 to Gamble[src]

Judge B-15, born Verity Willis, is the head of the Time Variance Authority and a former high-ranking hunter of the organisation. On a mission, she captured Loki and was a part of an uneasy alliance with him in order to find another Loki Variant. B-15 was soon enchanted by Sylvie Laufeydottir, resulting in B-15 accessing her erased memories before the TVA. When Laufeydottir helped unearth all of her memories, B-15 went against the TVA and helped expose the truth to all the agents.

This caused a rift between her and General Dox as B-15 felt great sympathy for the pruned beings. In the meantime, she battled both an uprising from Ravonna Renslayer and Miss Minutes as well as an overloaded Temporal Loom as the Multiverse was growing. The Loom eventually was destroyed by Loki, who decided to do the Loom's job, making him lost to time. However, this brought B-15 and the TVA on a better path as they let the Multiverse grow.

Now the leader of the TVA and a judge, B-15 intervened when she learned of a rogue group of agents led by Mr. Paradox attempting to utilize a Time Ripper to mercy-kill decaying timelines. The situation was resolved by Deadpool and Wolverine, and B-15 arrested Mr. Paradox.

Early Life[]

Taken by the TVA[]

Born as a human named Verity Willis within the Sacred Timeline,[3] B-15 became a Variant who caused a divergence, causing her to be taken by He Who Remains and have her memory suppressed so that she could be a member of the Time Variance Authority, an organization that protected the Sacred Timeline from other kinds of Variants.[6][7][8]

Meeting a Variant[]

Mobius asks who he is

B-15 becomes confused upon seeing Loki

B-15 and Mobius M. Mobius went to the library, discussing the sudden branching timelines, when Loki arrived and told them about the Citadel at the End of Time and warned them about the many Variants of a dangerous person coming. However, B-15 and Mobius, not knowing who Loki was, responded in a confused manner. B-15 then used her TemPad to call in for more reinforcements to help out.[7]

They soon realized Loki was a Variant and chased him until he was cornered. Seeing no way out, Loki jumped off the building into the city below where he found Casey before disappearing into the abyss.[9] Sometime later, He Who Remains soon decided to wipe everyone's minds and replaced himself with the Time-Keepers, removing all traces of his existence,[6][7][8] forcing B-15 and her colleagues to believe that they were constructed by them to help preserve the Sacred Timeline by preventing branched realities from forming.[2]

Hunter B-15 arrests Loki

Centuries after her long-forgotten encounter with Loki,[9] Hunter B-15 and her Minutemen were notified of a Loki from an alternate 2012 timeline that stole the Tesseract and was transported to the Gobi Desert in Mongolia. Hunter B-15 and her Minutemen were sent from the Time Variance Authority to apprehend him for disrupting the timeline. However, Loki threatened B-15 and the others and attempted to push through them, prompting B-15 to strike him in the face, using a tool to temporarily slow him down to one sixteenth of his original speed. B-15 then placed a power-nullifying collar on Loki and confiscated the Tesseract, while the Minutemen arrested Loki and reset the timeline using a reset charge.

B-15 brings Loki to the TVA headquarters

B-15 brought Loki through a Timedoor to the TVA headquarters. Loki immediately tried to escape, but B-15 used a Time Twister to bring him back to his original position, confusing him. B-15 gave the Tesseract to a TVA agent named Casey and brought Loki to another room where he was processed as a prisoner. Afterwards, B-15 brought Loki to stand before Judge Ravonna Renslayer, who was to try Loki for his crimes against the Sacred Timeline. B-15 stood by as Loki ridiculed the TVA, much to Renslayer and B-15's annoyance. Loki then attempted to use his Asgardian magic to escape, unaware of the fact his powers do not work in the TVA, confusing him yet more, amusing B-15.

Loki Stills 60

B-15 watches as Loki is put on trial

Renslayer sentenced Loki to being "reset", and B-15 grabbed him along with another guard; however, Agent Mobius M. Mobius intervened, requesting time with Loki. Later, B-15 entered the interrogation room and informed Mobius that there was a situation. B-15 and Mobius left, leaving Loki unattended. Outside, B-15 argued with Mobius telling him that associating with Loki was a mistake, and reminded him of a variant that had been murdering their men. Mobius returned to Loki, but he soon came rushing back to tell B-15 that Loki had escaped, having stolen Mobius' Time Twister to teleport himself away.[2]

Loki's Escape[]

"Split up. Prune on sight."
"No, no pruning, no resetting, he can still help us!"
―Hunter B-15 and Mobius M. Mobius[src]

B-15 ordered her men to reset Loki on sight; however, Mobius instead ordered them to keep him alive as he could still be of use to the TVA. B-15 found Loki talking to Casey and holding the Tesseract. Before B-15 could prune him, Loki teleported away. B-15 returned to the interrogation room and found Loki laughing, while watching his main self's timeline. B-15 asked Loki what was so funny, but Loki struck her. B-15 caught his fist and pushed him down onto the desk.

However, Loki grabbed a Time Twister and deactivated his collar, strapping it to B-15 and teleporting her away. Loki then brought B-15 back into the room, then sending her back once more. Loki continued to do this, despite B-15 ordering that he stop, sending her backwards and forwards through space repeatedly until ultimately teleporting her out of the room. B-15 was transported to a hallway where Casey and two TVA judges were discussing Loki's escape, startling them when she suddenly appeared.[2]

Working with Loki[]

Chase of the Variant[]

Renaissance Faire Loki Variant

Hunter B-15 prepares for the mission

After Hunter C-20 and her team were ambushed by the Variant in 1985 Oshkosh, Wisconsin, B-15 gathered Mobius, Loki, and some Minutemen to scope it out. She told the group of what happened and told them that although they were certain it was a Loki, they did not know what kind they would be. When Loki tried to tell her that it would be a lesser kind, B-15 asked him to turn around and show off the large word "Variant" on his jacket. When Loki was annoyed by it, she told him she was only making sure everyone remembered what he was, a cosmic mistake. She was present for the rest of the debriefing.

She then entered 1985 Oshkosh, Wisconsin by way of a Timedoor to investigate the disappearance of the Minutemen. When it was discovered that the Variant Loki had taken Hunter C-20 hostage, she said that it's possible that he was upping his game, before saying that there was no way a Loki had gotten the jump on C-20. She ordered her Minutemen to quickly fan out and search for C-20 before a redline could occur. Loki then warned the Minutemen not to leave the tent, as they would be ambushed, causing everyone to stop. B-15 watched as Loki talked and stalled for time, reminding Loki and Mobius multiple times that they were running out of time to look for C-20. After Mobius saw through Loki's lie, B-15 started to reset the timeline.[10]

Roxxcart Mission[]

Loki Stills 169

B-15 takes away Loki's daggers

After Mobius M. Mobius got permission to carry out a mission to try and corner the variant, B-15 entered for the briefing in time to see Mobius give Loki some daggers, which she promptly took away and stashed in her own locker before starting the briefing. She explained they would be going to Haven Hills, Alabama to Roxxcart Mall, a common superstore in the 2050s, and explained that the warehouse section was being used by civilians as a shelter from a hurricane. She reminded them that this event was considered a Class 10 Apocalypse, and that the variant inside most likely knew they were coming and should be considered hostile. She told them to keep an eye out for the missing reset charges and to prune any Loki they see, other than the Loki working with them.

Loki & Hunter Still

B-15 and Loki explore Roxxcart

Once inside the Roxxcart Mall, she was taken off guard when Loki used his magic to dry himself, and Loki was annoyed that she was put off by every move he made. She then ordered the Minutemen to take both of their teams to sweep the storm shelter for any reset charges. When Mobius began to take Loki with him to check the greenhouse, B-15 stopped him and said that Loki would be coming with her and Mobius with Hunter D-90. Mobius argued that it was his mission, but B-15 said it was her field op and that Loki was a threat. When Mobius continued to argue, she told him that he was welcome to hash it out back at the TVA, but Mobius said that they were too far into the mission and Loki stopped the argument and went with B-15 so that he could earn her trust.

Loki Stills 27

Hunter B-15 confronts a possessed man

B-15 and Loki then began to scour the aisles looking for reset charges or the Variant Loki and did not say anything to each other. When Loki tried to talk, B-15 told him to be quiet, before she heard a suspicious noise. Quietly turning the corner, she found a man in the plant aisle, apparently shopping. She pointed her weapon at him and he put his hands in the air. When asked why he was shopping for plants in a hurricane, he said that the plants were on sale because of the storm. She asked Loki if the man could possibly be the variant, to which Loki replied that although he would've worn a suit, it's still a possibility. B-15 then approached the man to search him, and he grabbed her hand, transferring green magic to her before the man promptly passed out.[10]

Possessed by the Variant[]

When Loki asked if the passed out man was dead, B-15, now being controlled by the variant, told him that they usually don't die, before noting with interest that Loki was the fool the TVA brought to hunt the variant down. Loki immediately realized that he was currently talking to the variant and introduced himself.

The variant then led Loki through the store, as Loki told her that her methods of possession were clever if not cowardly, and the variant told him that he was just as cowardly for working with the TVA. Loki said that he was working for himself, but the variant doubted it. When a Roxxcart employee named Randy walked up to the two and asked if they needed help finding the shelter, she said no before transferring possession from B-15 to him, and B-15 passed out.

B-15 woke up shortly after, unaware of what fully happened. She regrouped with Mobius M. Mobius, Hunter D-90, and a Minuteman and went to find Loki, finding him in front of a Timedoor. They chased him down the aisle, telling him to wait, but he went through the Timedoor and it closed before they could stop him.[10]

Search for Free Will[]

Learning the Truth[]

Mobius and B15

B-15 and Mobius M. Mobius search the monitors for Loki

Back at the Time Variance Authority Office, B-15 joined Mobius M. Mobius in looking at the monitors in order to try and locate Loki and the Variant. B-15 witnessed when the branch shot straight up off the Sacred Timeline, something they hadn't seen before, and they were then able to track the location of Loki.[6] Once they got to Lamentis-1, they found Loki holding Laufeydottir hostage, acting as an ally to the TVA. However, nobody was buying it. Laufeydottir then broke free from Loki and ran towards Ravonna Renslayer. B-15 protected her superior and punched Laufeydottir, knocking her to the ground. They then took the Variants in.[11]

B-15 and Mobius 1x4

B-15 asks Mobius M. Mobius about Hunter C-20

Later, B-15 ran into Mobius in the hallway and asked him about Hunter C-20's status. Mobius also told her that Loki had told him that they were being lied too by the TVA. This information made B-15 pause, as she remembered that a memory of an old life of hers was unlocked from her time being enchanted.

B-15 crying

B-15 learns of her past life

In order to learn more about her memory and past life, B-15 went into Laufeydottir's interrogation room and withdrew her Time Stick showing her that she'd come in peace. B-15 then opened a Timedoor and told Laufeydottir to follow her. They were transported back to 2050 Haven Hills, Alabama outside the Roxxcart Mall. B-15 then asked Laufeydottir if she had planted that memory in her mind, but Laufeydottir told her she didn't have that power. Wanting to remember more, B-15 let Laufeydottir enchant her again. Afterwards, B-15 reported emotionally that she was happy back in her past life on Earth.

Loki Stills 102

B-15 collected two weapons and took them to the Time-Keepers chamber, where she was then confronted by Ravonna Renslayer and some Minutemen. B-15 unlocked Loki and Laufeydottir's collars, freeing them from the Time Twister, and tossed them weapons. After doing so, B-15 was promptly knocked out by the Minutemen.[6]

In Custody[]

B-15 placed in custody

For her rebellion, Hunter B-15 was taken into custody and put in a Time Theatre. Sometime afterwards, Ravonna Renslayer arrived and asked her what Sylvie had done to her, to which B-15 stated that she had done nothing, noting that the Time-Keepers were fake and wondered why Renslayer wanted to protect the TVA so badly. She then deduced that Renslayer no longer cared about the TVA, but rather was more interested in learning who truly created it. B-15 added that Laufeydottir was after the TVA based on revenge and asserted that she would find out the TVA's origins sooner than her.[12]

Destroying the TVA[]

Rebecca's name revealed

B-15 tells Hunter D-90 the truth about the TVA

"Now, the branches keep on growing and we tell the people of the TVA the truth about this place. And you think people are gonna be ready to hear that? People have lives on the timeline, Mobius."
"Yes, I know. They should have the chance to live those lives."
―Hunter B-15 and Mobius M. Mobius[src]

Hunter B-15 was freed from being in custody by Mobius M. Mobius. After that, she snuck along on Hunter D-90's mission to Fremont, Ohio in 2018 to Franklin D. Roosevelt High School. There she entered the vice principal's office and was found by D-90 who asked her what she was doing there. They were then met by Rebecca Tourminet who was alarmed by their presence and asked what they were doing in her school. D-90 thought Tourminet was Ravonna Renslayer, but B-15 told him that that wasn't Renslayer and that she had to explain the truth about the TVA to him and the rest of the Minutemen.[7] B-15 sent out an order to stop pruning timelines.[9]

Mobius sees the multiverse

B-15 and Mobius M. Mobius watch the Multiverse get released

Later B-15 and Mobius M. Mobius watched as the timeline would branch in multiple timelines in the Time Variance Authority Office.[7] Mobius asked what they should do, and and B-15 said they tell everyone the truth. Mobius suggested it would be a difficult truth to hear, but B-15 insisted that people needed the chance to return to their lives. Casey arrived to tell Mobius and that Loki was looking for him, but had disappeared. Hunter X-05 interrupted their conversation to ask about the pictures of jet skis on Mobius' desk. X-05 interrupted Mobius' answer and told him and B-15 that the new Judges' Council wanted to talk to them.[9]

A New Purpose[]

Meeting in the War Room[]

Hunter D-90 S2

"On the record, 15."
"To hell with the record. You had a life on the timeline. And so did you. So did I."
―Hunter B-15 and Hunter X-05[src]

As Hunter X-05 took B-15 and Mobius M. Mobius to the War Room, Mobius suggested they ease the Judges' Council into the truth. They were confronted by Hunter D-90, who apologized for pruning Mobius. B-15 asked what the mood was like in the War Room, but D-90 simply walked away, defeated. B-15 and Mobius braced themselves and entered the War Room.

B-15 Testifies

Gamble discussed the situation and asked about their order to stop pruning, so B-15 asked for a moment to explain. However, she was cut off by Dox, who insisted that they follow protocol and have B-15 speak into their microphone. B-15 hesitantly obliged, asking for a moment to explain. Dox demanded to know who authorized the order, but B-15 insisted that they did not have time. Gamble noted that D-90 testifying about seeing Rebecca Tourminet verified B-15's claims, so B-15 started talking about Ravonna Renslayer having had a life on the timeline which was taken away from her. X-05 reminded her to say it on the record, but B-15 scolded him and said that he had a life on the timeline.

B-15 Stops X-05

B-15 stops Hunter X-05 from attacking Loki

She elaborated that all of them did, and Mobius noted that nothing bad had happened since the timeline branched. Dox asked what B-15 was suggesting they do rather than protect the timeline, but B-15 got angry and insisted that they hadn't been protecting, but rather destroying. B-15 and Dox argued, but Gamble interrupted and noted her past of always deeming people guilty on behalf of the Time-Keepers. B-15 sympathized with Gamble, insisting that the Time Variance Authority needed to change. Gamble agreed with B-15 and issued an order to stop all pruning.

B-15 HWR Reaction

B-15 astonished to see the heads of He Who Remains

Loki suddenly appeared, and X-05 approached Loki to prune him. However, B-15 stopped X-05 as Loki spoke to Mobius. B-15 watched as Loki stole X-05's Time Stick, revealing the face of a man behind it. Loki declared the man to be the person who built the TVA, stole their lives, and would be returning. Mobius guided Loki out of the room. B-15 watched as Dox ordered X-05 to find Sylvie Laufeydottir so they could get answers.[9]

Seeing the Temporal Loom[]

Hunter B-15 Temporal Core

B-15 sees the Temporal Loom

Hunter B-15 joined Mobius M. Mobius, Ouroboros, and Loki, reporting that the situation upstairs was bad. Mobius insisted that it was important as Ouroboros realized that the timeline branching was overloading the Temporal Loom. They reached the Temporal Loom and confirmed Ouroboros' suspicion. Ouroboros said that the way to stop the meltdown was to prune the branches, but B-15 refused, saying it would kill people. Ouroboros said that he could close the blast doors, but that Loki would need to pull himself from the Temporal Loom before that happened to stop himself from time slipping.[9]

Finding Hunter X-05[]

Hunter B-15 Closing Shot

"Quietly is not his strong suit. But he will talk once he's had time to marinate."
―Hunter B-15[src]

Hunter D-90 came downstairs to inform the group that Dox was raiding the armory. Loki wanted to go, but Mobius reminded him that they only had one chance to save him. B-15 decided to handle Dox, so she left with D-90. As they went upstairs, they found a high number of armed troops going through a Timedoor, including Dox herself. B-15 questioned if it was all for Sylvie Laufeydottir, but D-90 did not believe it.[9]

B-15 vs X-05

B-15 steals Hunter X-05's TemPad

The Time Variance Authority found Hunter X-05's TemPad before it shut off in London on the Sacred Timeline in 1977. Mobius M. Mobius and Loki confronted X-05, who had taken on the alias Brad Wolfe and became a actor. Wolfe fled from Mobius and Loki, so B-15 approached Wolfe, pretending to be a fan, and attacked him. B-15 stole Wolfe's TemPad, and Wolfe ran, so Mobius ran after him.

D-90 B-15 X-05

B-15 arrests Brad Wolfe

Mobius and Loki caught him, and B-15 and Hunter D-90 brought him into a holding room at the Time Variance Authority Office. B-15 tried to ask how Wolfe had altered his TemPad, but Wolfe refused to answer. B-15 insisted that Wolfe would reveal the truth once he has had time in holding and brought him in. D-90 commented on Wolfe's resistance, but B-15 again stated that Wolfe would talk. She gave Wolfe's TemPad to Loki and Mobius so that Ouroboros could look at it.[13]

Interrogating Brad Wolfe[]

Does He Know

B-15 gets Casey to talk to Loki and Mobius M. Mobius

"And under whose authority are you holding me here? Because looking around this room, I do not see anyone ranking high enough to make that call."
"I don't need approval to detain a Hunter that abandoned his post."
―Brad Wolfe and Hunter B-15[src]

B-15 went to check in on Casey, who was attempting to track Ravonna Renslayer but had not yet found her. Casey explained that the analysts had to trace people manually since Miss Minutes was not around. However, he was able to find out that Miss Minutes was still working with Ravonna Renslayer. B-15 brought Casey to Mobius M. Mobius and Loki so he could tell them about his revelation. Loki remembered a conversation he had heard while in the past in which Renslayer appeared to be partners with He Who Remains, shocking B-15. Mobius asked where Renslayer and Miss Minutes were, adn Casey said that he would tell them once he knew. B-15 saw Loki struggling with Brad Wolfe's TemPad and asked how they were doing, and Mobius said they were not doing well, but Loki claimed they would figure it out. Casey realized that Wolfe had lied about the purpose of the alterations by claiming they blocked Time Variance Authority tracking, but Casey realized that he was lying. B-15 suggested it was a good starting point for their interrogation of Wolfe, so she went along with Mobius and Loki.

B-15 Interrogation

B-15 demands answers from Brad Wolfe

Standing outside Wolfe's holding room, Mobius insisted that they focus on three major questions, Dox's location, Sylvie Laufeydottir's location, and his alterations to his TemPad. They went into Wolfe's room, and Wolfe greeted them. Mobius asked why Wolfe was on the Sacred Timeline and Wolfe claimed to simply be making movies, so B-15 scolded Wolfe for wasting time. Loki asked what he had done to his TemPad, so Wolfe reiterated his lie that it blocked TVA trackers. B-15 asked again, but Wolfe simply corrected her use of "X-05," insisting they call him "Brad." Wolfe asked who had ordered his arrest, since none of them ranked high enough, but B-15 said that she did not need approval since Wolfe had abandoned his post.

Silly Little Man

B-15 watches Loki pulls Mobius M. Mobius away

Wolfe explained that after she told everyone about their lives on the timeline, he actually went down and got his, asking what B-15 was angry about. Loki said there were lives at stake, so Wolfe started talking about how Loki was pathetic for trying to make up for his past. B-15 Loki laughed and thanked Wolfe for his comments, threatening him if he did not get answers. Wolfe continued to refuse, so Mobius pulled him away and offered a deal to return him to the timeline. B-15 watched as Wolfe turned his taunts to Mobius, angering Mobius enough to slap him. Loki pulled Mobius out of the room while B-15 stayed with Wolfe.[13]

Attack on the Branching Timelines[]

Hunter B-15 Core

―Hunter B-15[src]

B-15 brought Casey to the room where the Temporal Loom was managed, believing that Casey could help Ouroboros. Ouroboros suddenly shouted that they would all die, so B-15 asked what was happening. Ouroboros explained that the blast doors would not open, so Casey suggested a solution. Casey realized that Ouroboros was the author of the TVA Guidebook and asked for an autograph, but B-15 reminded them about the emergency. Ouroboros explained that the doors could not be opened without He Who Remains or Miss Minutes.

Hunter B-15 Pruned Timelines

B-15 watches the number of pruned timelines increase

Casey and B-15 saw in a chrono bay that branches were being attacked, when Brad Wolfe was sent in through a Timedoor. Mobius M. Mobius told her that Dox was responsible for the attack, and B-15 ordered the agents there to track the Reset Charges being used. B-15 watched as an analysts reported that thirty percent of the branches had been pruned. She contacted Mobius, telling him to take Dox down. B-15 watched more timelines get destroyed and asked if it was possible to stop the charges. Casey said it could be possible if they could track the charges and called Ouroboros.

B-15 Distraught

B-15 mourns the loss of the new timelines

B-15 called Mobius and told him that he should return, so he and Loki went to the Time Variance Authority Office. B-15 looked at the screen reporting on all the pruning branches with a horrified expression, expressing how upset she was that the people had been killed. Casey suddenly located Ravonna Renslayer's TemPad, and B-15 looked as the computer traced it.[13]

Work on the Temporal Loom[]

Finding Solutions[]

Face to Face with Killer

B-15 brainstorms ways to fix the Temporal Loom

"We're all gonna die still."
"No one's gonna die. There has to be a viable option."
―Ouroboros and B-15[src]

Hunter B-15 returned to the Temporal Loom with Loki, Casey, and Ouroboros as they watched it get overwhelmed with the regrowing branches. Ouroboros explained that he did not know how to fix the loom without He Who Remains' temporal aura, so B-15 asked how long they had. Ouroboros explained that if they did not scale the loom's ability to handle the new branches, it would fail. B-15 insisted they find a possible solution, so Casey suggested they find Miss Minutes. B-15 noted they could find her using the results of Casey's trace on Ravonna Renslayer's TemPad. Mobius and Loki then left to find Renslayer and Miss Minutes.

B15 and Casey (1893)

B-15 learns about Victor Timely

While Mobius searched, Casey found a strange TemPad reading. B-15 contacted him with news of the development, but Mobius explained that they had found a variant of He Who Remains whose temporal aura they could use. B-15 was surprised and told Mobius about Casey's discovery. Mobius asked where it was, so B-15 lowered her communicator to Casey, who said the reading was from ten feet away from Mobius.[14]

Meeting Victor Timely[]

B-15 Meets Victor

B-15 meets Victor Timely

B-15 saw Victor Timely wandering the Time Variance Authority Office and recognized him to be a variant of He Who Remains. Timely greeted B-15 as Loki and Mobius M. Mobius appeared and tried to convince Timely to trust them, but Timely was hesitant. Laufeydottir then arrived, and Timely noted that everyone there wanted him and demanded a say in what he did. Another power surge happened, and Timely agreed to help.[8]

Talking to Dox's Loyalists[]

Meeting with Gamble[]

Hunter B-15 Talks to Gamble

B-15 discusses what to do with Dox

"And it can be again, if you convince her that this new version is worth protecting, too."
"I don't think it'll change anything."
"Don't be so sure of that. Your words changed me."
―Gamble and Hunter B-15[src]

B-15 met with Judge Gamble and told her that Dox was alive. Gamble asked what B-15 wanted to do, but B-15 simply asked for orders. Gamble told B-15 to sit down and talked about how in the past they simply would have pruned all of Dox's Loyalists. B-15 asked if they would continue to do that, but Gamble said she did not know. Gamble reminded B-15 of their goal to change the Time Variance Authority, prompting B-15 to wonder if they would simply forgive them. Gamble suggested that B-15 talk to Dox and convince her that the newer TVA was worth saving, noting that B-15 was successful at convincing her.[8]

Convincing General Dox[]

B-15 and D-90

B-15 asks for help from Dox

"I don't want any of this. And I certainly don't wanna be talking to you. But I know you care about the TVA, and I know you wanna protect it. That's the only reason I'm here."
―Hunter B-15 to Dox[src]

B-15 and Hunter D-90 went into Dox's holding room, and Dox insisted that B-15 did not have the authority to hold her and her loyalists. B-15 simply stated that she did not want to be talking to Dox, but was there because she knew that Dox cared about the Time Variance Authority. Dox asked what she wanted, so B-15 asked if they could be trusted to defend the TVA if they needed it. Dox did not trust B-15, so B-15 told her to trust that they both cared about the TVA and its people.

Distraught B-15

B-15 gets upset about the dead Minutemen

B-15 and D-90 then left to give them time to think about it, but D-90 asked what they would do if the loyalists did not agree. B-15 simply told D-90 to help Mobius M. Mobius monitor Victor Timely and walked away. B-15 later went to check on the loyalists, but found that they had all been crushed. She tried to contact Mobius, but was denied access to her TemPad.[8]

Temporal Meltdown[]

The End[]

B-15 Anounces Death

B-15 tells the others about Dox's death

"What did we do wrong?"
―Hunter B-15[src]

B-15 told the others what had happened, and Sylvie Laufeydottir suggested that Ravonna Renslayer was responsible. Another power surge shook the Time Variance Authority Office, so B-15 asked if the Throughput Multiplier was ready. Ouroboros said that it was, but that it did not matter without Victor Timely, who had been taken. While Loki searched for Timely, B-15 went to the Temporal Loom with Ouroboros, Casey, and Mobius M. Mobius to start working on their solution.

B-15's Last Moments?

B-15 watches the explosion approach

Loki and Laufeydottir returned with Timely, who opened the blast doors. Loki volunteered to be the one to bring the Throughput Multiplier, so Mobius and B-15 prepared to move. However, Timely insisted he be the one to do it. As Timely got ready, they discussed whether he would make it. Mobius expressed doubt about the radiation levels, but B-15 insisted that he would make it. Timely reported that he was ready, so B-15 told Ouroboros to move. However, as soon as the doors opened, Timely was killed by the radiation. B-15 was shocked and asked if he was dead as Ouroboros realized the radiation was too high. B-15 and Casey tried to figure out what they had done wrong. The Loom exploded, and B-15 watched in horror as the explosion moved toward the Time Variance Authority.[8]

Through Time Slipping, Loki managed to undo the explosion, planting himself around when Victor Timely was about to go out to the gates. B-15 watched as Timely walked out and instantly died. Loki then slipped back and tried to do it faster, only to fail multiple times as B-15 simply watched, not retaining memories of each loop.

Finally, Loki returned again and was very smart and creative with his approach. He was able to get Timely outside at record time enough for him to reach the Maintenance Probe. He put the Throughput Multiplier in and got back, fixing the Temporal Loom. However, this celebration was short lived as it actually did not work, making their cheering premature. B-15 then watched next to Sylvie Laufeydottir as she realized it was her fault because if she did not kill He Who Remains, this would have never happened.

The TVA Always Watches

Loki returned once more, but this time was quiet. He walked outside himself, leaving the agents to watch from the window with no explanation. B-15 watched as Loki used his magic to destroy the loom, leaving dying branches all around him. With the light from the loom gone, everyone watched in darkness as Loki took the branches and left through a rift, effectively making himself the loom at the End of Time and liberating the Multiverse.[15]

With the Multiverse in full effect, new propaganda was put up, leaving Multiversal War propaganda to be deemed old. Casey in particular wanted the mural of the war taken down. One day, B-15 walked through the office complimenting analysts work until she walked up to Casey and Ouroboros, who had rebooted Miss Minutes. B-15 asked if they were sure she would not turn on them. All Ouroboros could muster was a half-meaning shrug. She told him that was reassuring before asking Casey if he was going to the war room. She told him she would be up soon and asked to let them know. Casey said he would do her one better and save a seat.

B-15 then walked over to Mobius M. Mobius with files that he requested. She then picked up his work and read his file on a He Who Remains Variant named Kang the Conqueror, but Mobius assured her it was taken care of. Later, she found him at the war mural and remarked at how Casey wanted it taken down. However, Mobius believed it worked as a reminder. She asked if he was coming to the meeting, but Mobius broke the news that he was leaving to see the Sacred Timeline.

As B-15 grew sad, he remarked that nobody would miss a washed up analyst. B-15 said that one or two would. He then assured her that he needed to know what he was missing. B-15 understood and told Mobius that if he ever wanted to return, there would be a seat wide open for him. She then left and went to the War Room. Upon entering, she saw the fully occupied room of agents working together as well as an empty seat next to Judge Gamble that Casey saved for her.[15]

"Your universe is regenerating. Whatever you did here, you not only saved your world, you spared your timeline from extinction. I'd rest up. I have a feeling your work is only getting started."

Personality[]

"We couldn't have made it out of the Void without some help from some people that the world kinda... kinda forgot. Is there any way you could maybe find a way to bring 'em home?"
"I'll see what I can do."
―Deadpool and B-15[src]

B-15 is characterized by her no-nonsense demeanor and a tendency to act first and speak later. Fierce in battle, she led her own team of Minutemen, tasked with pruning branched timelines and Variants. Initially, she exhibited a subtle sense of superiority over Variants, viewing them as criminals and thus treating them with aggression. Her distrust was evident when she first encountered Loki, attacking him and placing him under control without allowing him any chance to escape.

At first, B-15 was a staunch supporter of the Time Variance Authority’s mission and was resistant to working with Loki, disagreeing with Mobius M. Mobius’ plans to collaborate with him in tracking down a rogue Variant. She also restricted Loki’s access to his weapons and ordered him to remain with TVA personnel during their mission to Roxxcart.

Her perspective shifted significantly after being enchanted by Laufeydottir in Roxxcart, where the rogue Loki Variant unlocked her memories as a former citizen of Earth. This revelation led her to question her mission and the ethics of pruning Variants, realizing that she too was a Variant. Determined to reclaim control over her own fate, she defied the TVA and her former comrades by aiding Loki and Laufeydottir in their quest to uncover the truth about the Time-Keepers. Following her imprisonment for this act, she became a strong advocate for dismantling the TVA and allowing timelines to branch indefinitely, opposing her previous mission.

After learning the full extent of her previous mission, B-15 developed significant empathy for individuals in different timelines. She believed that they were deprived of free will and sought to reform the TVA’s approach toward Variants. Her commitment to this cause surpassed even Mobius M. Mobius and Loki, who had their own doubts about the TVA's practices.

Trivia[]

Behind the Scenes[]

  • During development of the first season of Loki, B-15 was originally conceived as a male character named Hunter 9K. 9K was imagined as an angry person with enhanced strength and a retro futuristic look. The character's gender and personality changed once Wunmi Mosaku read for the part and gave the character more sass.[17]
  • MarchĂ© Day was a stunt double for Wunmi Mosaku in the role of B-15.
