Starfy is a retired character on Super Smash Stadium. Debuting alongside Hanenbow, he is just as short-lived as that stage and is infamous for the fact that he only appeared once, on his debut playing! The following season, however, he would gain a second life as an Assist Trophy, debuting in that role alongside Skyworld.
In his own universe[]
Fuse Kirby with SpongeBob, and you have this guy.
Attributes[]
If his appearance as an Assist Trophy is anything to go by, Starfy appeared to be little more than a "joke character". He was ridiculously weak and easy to kill, and the "lucky" contestant who had to play as him, while she DID win (taking home $5,515 in the process, quite a haul for 1977), clearly wasn't too happy about having to use him, visibly expressing her disgust on camera (and still showing disgust in a 2017 interview, 40 years later!).
Changes[]
None.

Taunts[]
Jumps, while what would become his Assist Trophy's alert tone played.
Victory[]
- Pose: Spun several times.
- Theme: The Legendary Starfy level clear theme.
- "No Contest"/Loss Theme: Assumed to be The Legendary Starfy game over theme, but a No Contest never happened with Starfy as Player 1.
Costumes[]
While Starfy is believed to have had four costumes, like all other characters who debuted in the era, only his default yellow costume was ever seen.
