The Space Flock are the birds featured in Angry Birds Space. The first name that was known was the "Lazer Bird" from the file name of images added to the Angry Birds Google+ page on February 17, 2012. The Ice Bird was mentioned in passing by a Rovio employee at SXSW. The true bird names were later revealed via AngryBirdsNest and The Daily.[1] Every bird (except the Space Eagle and Mighty Buzzard with the latter being based off Buzz Aldrin) resemble a different Marvel or DC Comics character.
In Angry Birds Space, the Space Flock appear as the protagonists of the game with them being the Angry Birds when they passed a wormhole. In gameplay, the Space Flock debut one by one with the first being Super Red debuting in the first level and the last being Starlight Stella debuting as a skin for normal Stella in Angry Birds Reloaded.
Has the ability to freeze pigs and obstacles, but can also produce a huge ice ball when you launch the Ice Bird in the Pig Dipper's water surfaces. Freeze explosion can also trigger explosive items (Example: TNT Crates).
Same ability as the original version of Matilda.Drops an Egg Bomb when the screen is tapped, followed by her corpse flying upwards in a diagonal direction. (Can be used as an advantage when aimed correctly)
Similar to Mighty Eagle, the Space Eagle can come from a wormhole from behind the fortress to cause massive destruction. However, the Eagle do not clear all the pigs. (Sardine Cans are free in the Space Eagle Bonus Levels)
Similar to his normal counterpart, with the exception that he doesn't make comic expressions but can create a small gravity field around him that attracts things.
