Cosmic Crystals is the thirty-first episode in Angry Birds Reloaded which released on March 21, 2024. This episode was released one day before Angry Birds Space's 12th anniversary, March 22, 2012.
The Space Pigs and the Flock find an Eggsteroid on a planet, but the Alien Pig intervenes and vacuums the Eggsteroid into his UFO. A pig is later shot out in a crystal planet towards them, forcing the Flock to also save the Space Pigs alongside the Eggsteroid.
Ending[]
The Alien Pig is defeated, and only his destroyed UFO remains while the Flock looks at the Eggsteroid in joy over its safety.
Alien Pig has no animations in Reloaded outside of the opening cutscene, likely due to the monthly update pattern.
In the final level, there isn't an explosion when Alien Pig is defeated, unlike the original version.
The gravitational fields for any planets he created also remain after he is defeated, despite the planets themselves being destroyed.
In the original opening cutscene, the Alien Pig is seen sucking in a minion pig before shooting it out with his UFO. In Reloaded, this is not seen, as he simply shoots the pig out without appearing to suck it in.
The Reloaded version of Cosmic Crystals marks more drastic changes in the background's visuals, as the sky is dotted with lines that resemble crystals themselves. There are also massive crystal monoliths, with the biggest one emitting smoke, possibly implying that it is the source of all the crystal planets. Clouds are also added to the background, to mimic the monoliths being like mountains, and the purple colors are also much more vibrant.
