Angry Birds Cheetos was an official game by Rovio Entertainment that promotes Cheetos in Turkey and Russia released in 2012. Like in Angry Birds Volcano, there were also codes that could be found of the packages. There were also daily prizes like an iPad or Angry Birds plushies. It includes the Cheetos Bag, which can be flung at the pigs like a bird. This web-based game was on Facebook and not linked from Angry Birds Chrome. It was removed and discontinued sometime in 2013. A sequel was released in the same year that is usually referred to as Angry Birds Cheetos 2. It introduced a new version of the Cheetos Bag power-up that explodes once it comes into contact with something.[1]

Trivia[]

  • For the game's release, a pop-up event in Gorky Park was held in September 2012 where participants could win prizes and play Angry Birds in real life.[2]
